Thanks. Maybe we can get a guy like Brock Guffey back. If his arm isn’t totally shot. Or Jackson Tate. But I’d imagine he’ll get drafted somewhere and likely take the $1,000 bonus and a plane ticket to get out of dodge.

We should know in the next few weeks. Announcements will start coming out shortly (draft, transfers in and out, those who are just hanging it up). If I come across any, I’ll post them here unless a more appropriate thread emerges.

I really don’t think we take much of a step back next season. The incoming class has lots of promise. Even after those that choose to go pro after the draft later this month.

Too bad the baseball transfer portal doesn't look like football's and basketball's. You can build an entire roster out of those things.

Congratulations to Alabama Baseball signee @dominic_tamez and McLennan (TX) Community College on winning the Division I NJCAA National Championship.
Dominic went 4 for 4, with HR, 3B, and 3 RBI in the Highlanders 7-3 win over Central Arizona in the final.

Well cross one off the list of “players we need to step up next year.”

He will prolly have a 15-18 HR year at his next stop

I always wondered if something else was up with him all year other than being banged up.

would have to be fastballs. reeves can’t handle the deuce, nor the outside half of the plate.

I know but it would be the most Bama baseball thing that could happen

Here’s the SI write up
Alabama Baseball OF T.J. Reeves Enters NCAA Transfer Portal
Should he opt to transfer, Reeves would be immediately eligible to play and would have two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Texas A&M just hired the coach from TCU. That is an impressive hire and just made it even harder for the SEC West if that was possible. I really want to be positive but I feel like unless we turn a corner soon we will be permanent bottom dwellers in the conference. Coach Bo has done an admirable job recruiting better players to campus. We just need them to develop properly and get some momentum going

No doubt 2021 will kind of determine which direction the program is going under Bo. If we have a major setback then who do you hire that might be better at both recruiting and coaching with recruiting being the more important. The SEC West is damn tuff.
