At what point did you think Bama just might end up winning this game?

Of course, we all figured Bama would have won from the outset, but Georgia came to play. I thought it was over for most of the second half.

But, to me, when Jalen hit Waddle on the sideline for 23 yards on the drive that ultimately tied it at 28, I figured Bama was gonna figure out a way.

When Jalen hit Irv on 3rd down. At that point I knew that the hope I had that Jalen had improved was real.

I really felt a little better when Tua came out.

How different is this game if Tua doesn’t throw the INt and Smith catches that pass??

The 1st and goal if the pass is a little more out in front we go up 7 to 0 and there is no injury and no int and the game is completely different.

Honestly, about halfway through the 3rd I started thinking that our best shot might by Jalen coming in and running RPOs. We were gashing them up the gut and it would make them have to change things.

I was waiting for someone on D to okay hero ball and whiff. D played disciplined and got it done. Held them scoreless last 17 mins?

Well there were a couple of different times. I felt good going into halftime. First 6 minutes of the 3rd were nightmarish but after tua hit a couple of throws and than the Waddle td I thought we were finally clicking. Then I wasn’t confident until after Jalen scored the td to jeudy that tied it

I thought we might come back after halftime... then that was crushed after we went 3 and out.

Really didn't feel great until Jalen tied it up

Last year I thought it was over. We had no shot to score 14 pts led alone shut them out.

This year the only time I thought it was done was after the long tight end pass when they then missed the FG. I kept thinking we'd get it going on offense.

I posted is it time for Jalen and a change of pace to let Tua settle down and was downvoted. I understand Tua is a better overall QB but some games you just ain’t got it.

I didn’t feel we might win until the clock said 0:00.

I knew we needed a spark. i was calling early third quarter and on for a -then- knowingly crazy move to put Jalen in.

it would have been the wrong move... but... for me? the moment i KNEW we'd win was when i saw Tuas OTHER fking ankle rolled. i knew Jalen needed to know this game rode on him. the team visibly responded. the whole juju changed and the crimson stars aligned. the second Jalen went in, i had a 100% faith'o'meter... it was a movie script. he nearly cost us last year, got benched. Tua won it for us. poetic justice for Jalens Bama experience. i could not possibly be happier for the guy.

Jalen, you are the MAN. Thanks for staying.

I always felt like we were still in the game, but only if we started playing better obviously. I was worried on if that was going to happen, especially after the 3rd quarter started off not so hot and figured if it didn't then Georgia was just the better team.

I did not stress at all when Jalen came into the game. Like not even a little.

My heart didn't stop it's shite until after the clock ran out.

Yeah I thought mid third quarter we should put Jalen in the game. We weren’t going to win the game the way it was going.

It was as close to a repeat of the january game as you could have gotten, but with reverse qb heroes. we absolutely needed a spark for the team. we were getting beat. they weren't used to feeling outmatched.

had tua not rolled his ankles, i doubt we win. maybe we could have. but the team rallied behind Jalen, and that is undeniable.

and if we win it all, 10+ years from now when the Saban documentaries start coming out and they get to talking about this season, they won't talk NC game much. they will talk about this game. if i had to bet.
