I didnt until they faked the punt. I was just hoping to get it close enough for us to still get the #4 spot. Still in shock of what i witnessed, Hollywood writers couldnt write a better script.

Something changed with that missed field goal. Some people don't believe in momentum but whatever it was shifted and Alabama started playing cleaner, better football.

I started to believe after Jalen’s strike to Jeudy for a score. Legend!

Seriously, when Jalen came in.

It seemed like the whole energy for Bama changed and it felt like Georgia got in their own heads thinking “Not this shite again!”.

And look at this stat. If I were a Georgia fan this would make me literally vomit.

quote:

There have been 290 total plays run in Alabama & Georgia’s last 2 matchups.

@AlabamaFTBL led for 9 of them (3%) and won both games.

Never really felt they were out of it. Thought they'd win for sure after the missed field goal.

I'm generally not a believer in unrelated things following in some pattern but Georgia sports teams have followed this same script so many times. Plus Saban's teams never throw in the towel. Too much talent and too well coached to keep them bottled up for 60 minutes.

When UGA faked the punt. All time dumb decision and it almost always bites that team in the arse.

3 minutes left, you punt and odds are decent you make Jalen and the offense start at their own 20-25 at worst. Make'em drive the length of the field and maybe rely on their shaky field goal unit to beat you.

To forgo that and beg Bama to take over at midfield has to be the stupidest thing I've seen a team pull against us. I knew that play sucked the last bit of life from UGA.

When we tied it I actually had hope. Up to that point thought a loss was very likely.

This was it for me. You can't let Bama hang in a game like that.

When UGA missed the FG, I knew we had a shot.

When Jalen came in, I was 90% sure we would at least get to OT.

When Jalen tied it up, I ugly cried. I had to leave the room. I was so proud.

You could just feel that the team was going to win it for Jalen. UGA wanted it more for 58:56. Bama only needed the 1:04.

Halfway through the third. Tua threw his nest pass to Waddle for the td and Bama was driving when he got hurt.

When Blankenship missed the field goal, and we immediately scored a touchdown...it went from us being down by three scores, to us being down by one score. As bad as we had played, we were still in the game.

Probably when Jalen hit Jeudy to tie the game up

But honestly I was pretty pissed the whole game with how we were playing, after Tua went out with his other ankle injury I completely calmed down and took it all in

Guess I could feel something special happening

The 51 yard pass from Tua to Waddle. Knew then we were going to win.

I seriously never thought Bama would lose, even with Tua out. I channeled my inner nacho guy last night

I honestly believe in these types of games Bama will win. With the players we have on offense and defense we can score a TD at any moment. So, a 14 point deficit while not ideal isn't at all insurmountable for this team. Also, I know Bama is mentally tough as much as we are talented.

Thought a big play in the game was late 3rd q, we’re down a score and UGA has the ball about midfield. Fromm scrambles on 2nd down and slides instead of pushing for the first. We get the stop on 3rd with the Carter blitz and start the 4th with the ball.

That’s when I thought maybe we want this game more than UGA does.
