Kiffin also knows exactly how good a DB coach and recruiter TRob is, and anyone on Earth would have known to at least keep Caleb Downs position coach & recruiter.

I've pulled for bama with every coach we've had and never advocated firing any coach.
I let those that were close enough to grade him properly, decide if change is needed.

Unfortunately true, actually the main guy Saban recommended. I don't think I have seen anything about Saban talking about TRob in that fashion unfortunately. Think he recommend Roach. I could be wrong but I don't think Saban trust you much if you don't commit to match up zone.

I don’t know man. He has other people contacting the players and he’s emailing their parents. He didn’t call TRob until after UGA hired him that’s lazy when it comes to player management and recruiting. I won’t say anything else about it in this thread though.

I'm not disagreeing with you on TRob as a DB coach and recruiter. Although I'll add the caveat that having Saban as the head coach and probably the best DB coach of all time as a safety net helped TRob prosper. But the only way DeBoer or Kiffin could have kept TRob would be to promote him to DC. And he's been an average at best DC in his career.

Geez man, what a cluster. There was speculation going back to last year that Roach was on the hot seat, and for good reason. The DL has flat out underperformed.
Meanwhile TRob produces the top 2 CBs in the country, and is best friends with the best player on the team who happens to be a future unanimous AA.
This doesn't add up. AND recommended Rees dumb arse ? No, this doesn't add up at all.
I need to process that...
