found it odd that no bama players except on the iron. the iron have several bama players, so i'll try to catch their games.
Teams got the first chance to sign players that went to college in the state the team is located, so The Iron signed anyone worth signing.

thats pretty smart. keeps local interest in watching guys that played close to home.

i for one, aint down with the chick coach. but then again i dont like women refs either. chicks gotta stick their no experienced noses in everything. if i was a d lineman for the iron, i'd be pissed they didnt hire a real coach. you know, somebody thats been there and done that.

You don't have to have played to be a good coach.

Welllllllll The D Line looked pretty dang good lol. Not sure how piss poor Memphis offense is. Not a lot to complain about the defensive performance as a whole today.

I think it's safe to say my evaluation and obsession over Christian Hackenberg was dead fricking wrong.

He's the worst QB on the planet.

Imagine being his backup in the AAF. LSU and Zach Mettenberger get that honor too.

Guys, I did my part for the shutout.

I waved my D-fence sign proud and watched a friend fall 3 straight times on somebody.

We're gonna let the person get the first shot in at that point, then step in. He was owed at least that...

frick,I wish Birmingham would have gotten Mullaney.

So far it looks like we got the best defense and the Hotshots have the best offense.

The Apollo are solid at both.

The top three teams so far are Orlando, Birmingham and Arizona.

I like this league so far.

Lot better than I thought it would be. Just don’t see how AAF, XFL , and the Pacific Coast league or whatever it’s called can all hope to make it

AAF will be the one who survives because they are wanting to work with the NFL.

I would like to see a "Super Bowl" between the XFL and AAF champion every year. But Vince Mcmahon would never let it happen.

I don't have high hopes for any of the leagues to make it If we get a second season, I'll be happy

What time of year are the others playing bc IMO , this is the perfect time of year . If it is during fall football I won’t watch honestly and probably June , July are bad times as well

I might could see July bc I will be ready for football but April , May , June ....

I don't think any of them are viable long term, but if the AAF commits to being the de facto NFL minor league I think they can make it, at least for a while. That market has needed to be filled for a long time now, and if they do well the NFL will eventually offer to buy the whole league and make it their official minor league affiliate.

And how will that affect College Football? That is an entirely different animal. A topic which will require pages and pages to dissect and discuss.
It could be that's what the ultimate goal of this league is. Could result in a nice payday for the management/ownership of this league hence we also see some well known names associated with it.

You don't know anything about her past. You really think they just picked someone off the side of the road and made her a coach? Sounds like you just don't like women.
