The #Lions are moving rookie WR Jameson Williams to the Reserve/NFI list today, per source.
This was always the plan for Williams, the first-round pick who suffered a torn ACL in January’s national championship game. The hope is he’ll be ready to play around midseason.

Apparently B-Rob got shot in a robbery attempt. Reportedly not life threatening but it sucks for him because by most accounts he had won the Washington starting job.

Might not be 100 percent. I think OJ ends up on a team before week is out. He would be a good add in miami.

He fell behind a rookie iirc for 2nd string duties.
OJ isn't a good NFL TE, and his injury 2 years back made it worse.

He was basically an average starting NFL TE prior to the injury if you look at the numbers he was putting up. Now, that is probably a downgrade from the expectation had when he was drafted but he's not been bad, at least before the achilles.

He never really developed into anything more than an athletic mismatch, and injuries are zapping that away.
He got in Bruce Arians' doghouse because he wasn't a good route runner, blocker, or a sure handed TE. The same stuff he had incomplete grades on at Bama.
OJ's best plays at Bama were when the defense just didn't worry about covering him...

Did Leatherwood just get released? I swear I thought he was doing at least "Ok" at the guard position last year and then they changed him to tackle
