Success in the NFL for 99% of QBs is based entirely on the situation around them. Guys like Mahomes, Peyton, and Brady are the exception and would excel in pretty much any circumstances. For the rest it's really a matter of going to an organization that fits. I mean look at Tua in Miami. Headed for bust status until he was paired with a coach who believes in him instead of undermining him and runs a system that plays to his strengths. Mac would probably look fine if he had ended up in San Francisco with Shanahan because they have weapons and run a system that suits him. I honestly don't know what the frick New England is even trying to achieve on offense. That could be because of BooB or it could just be because they have a dumpster fire OL, but the only time there has been an ounce of cohesion to that offense since Mac was drafted was his rookie year.

True. The OL is critical for any QB to succeed and Mac has had one of the worst in the NFL. Throw in one of the worst WR groups and it's no surprise he's struggling. Granted, his INT today was pretty much just a horrible pass by him. I was really hoping they'd trade him before the deadline. He can be a good QB. Belichick has just Floresed him for some bizarre reason.

Henry has to get out of Tennessee. He’s just rotting there.

Hot Take: Sophomore Milroe is better than sophomore Hurts. Hurts really improved his junior and senior year. Can Milroe make a similar leap?

Hiring BOB certainly hasn’t helped Mac.

He really lacks creativity.

Mahomes, Manning, and Brady all had weapons that was always open so they aren't exempt.

A dam good offensive line as well.

Patrick Surtain has been locking Stefon Diggs up this entire game.

I won my fantasy game this week because of this.

Mac is pretty much done in New England. Hopefully he gets traded to a team with a decent OL that at least gives him a shot to win the starting job.

Carolina gonna lose again today. Defense can't stop nothing and offensive line is awful.

Carolina is terrible from a talent standpoint. 3rd and 19 and their defender just committed a simultaneous facemask/horse collar when they had them stopped. I feel for Bryce behind that OL for sure. Same deal Mac has. Not many great QBs have terrible OLs. Most teams recognize they have to upgrade to protect their young QBs. Unfortunately Carolina gave up there '24 first round pick so sucking isn't even going to have a draft positive.

Panthers defense imploding...multiple stops on 3rd down but get a pf on every stop.

Vrabel might be entering hotseat territory in Nashville.

I imagine the Pats would take him in a heartbeat once Belichick leaves this offseason.

Nice drive by the Panthers. Bryce short TD pass to TE. 17-10 Cowboys.

I have to believe the Pats go with an offensive minded coach the way things have played out since Brady left. No one has the stomach for inept offense up here moving forward. His handling of the QB situation in Nashville would upset the fans imo even if he is a Pats legend.
