Wouldn't be surprised if the Zappe experiment is over. This was a good sample size.

Unless there really is something wrong behind the scenes with Mac's attitude.

Yes they did. Guess what New England, your problem is the guy with the headset and hoodie not the QB.

As much as I'd like to see Mac play, he needs to get away from this situation.

What he did to Mac tonight is pure stupidity. He hasn’t played in 3 weeks.. you give him 3 series.

Yeah, he threw a bad pic.. but he’s trying to get back into the rhythm of the game. But he was jerked after that with no chance to redeem himself.

Zappe isn’t as good as Jones, but let them have him. I hope Mac demands a trade

After Aikman spent 2 quarters talking about Zappe being the second coming of Montana, now he says there's no question that Mac is their QB.

It's a clown show.

No idea what Belifrick is liable to do.. he’s an arrogant prick.

But it should be the guy that set the franchise record for TD’s by a rookie.

If he tries to play them both he’s an even bigger ego maniac than I thought.

Aikman saying it should be Mac

He probably doesn't remember that by now.

The Pats have terrible fans. They should be embarrassed.

And it's painfully clear Brady made Belichick, not the other way around.

I think at one time Belicheck was as good or better than any coach in the league. But he’s old, has put his son over the defense… refused to hire a n OC..etc.

He won’t stick up for Mac, which is absolutely insane. That doesn’t build much confidence for a 2nd year QB..

But Bill thinks it’s all about him, not the players

JMO but Mac is placing way too much pressure on himself. He is going overboard on overthinking the game and it shows in his play. I switched to pulling for Da Bears after the fans showed their azz.

Relax Mac and let the game come to you.

Was just about to post that...it's almost as if Bill is intentionally sabatoging the team. Some of his moves have been mind boggling.

Belicheck won a few of those SBs, esp. The ones against Rams.

Belichick is one of the best defensive minds in football history, but his decisions on offense in terms of staff and personnel this past offseason were indefensibly bad. He won't hire people from outside of the Patriots bubble, so when McDaniels left for Las Vegas and BooB wouldn't give him a multi-year commitment he just brought back a couple of his numerous assistants turned historic disaster HCs and put them in roles they have no business being in.

The Herd

Not usually a Cowherd fan, but he is right on about Belicheck.

Starts talking about Pats at 5.30 mark.

Browsed a Pats subreddit and they are PISSED at how last night played out.

From the booing(started before Mac’s first drive) to wondering why tf Mac would start if they were going ti pull him to Zappe mania even being a thing.

Bill genuinely could not have fricked up this situation more if he tried.

In a vacuum the INT by Mac was pretty bad. But given the field position and drive killing penalties from the OL and trust that your defense can stop the fricking Bears and drops…….it wasn’t THAT bad. Mac has to play better, but pulling him after those first 2 drives was insanity.
