If Sims doesn't win the job and graduates in the spring I could see him leaving as well.

a friend of mine who has a "source" said that Bama's QB next year is not on campus yet and he was not referring to a current HS kid.

Coker would be great. As would Cornwell though. Only guy on campus I have confidence in is Bateman, but even then we haven't seen him take a meaningful college snap.

Well he is a ridiculous athlete, just gotta hope everything heals up well from his injury

If you watch that Sr highlight tape I posted a little while ago you see he has wheels and a cannon, could be a very good pro style QB for Nuss' offense though

It's pretty amazing that Saban was able to maintain focus last week and recruit like a banshee when shite was flying everywhere.

Remember how happy and relaxed he seemed on College GameDay last week? It's almost like he knew that he was gonna be the primary sports story and get a nice raise without really doing anything if he didn't feel like doing it.

I am sure that Sims will play next year. Whether or not he starts, I am willing to bet be we feature a package with him during each game. But I am glad Cornwell will get to compete during the spring.

Sims doesn't need to play at all next year. Not for mop up duty especially. Let the younger guys get some snaps.

He would not have taken all the backup snaps for two years if he was not going to play. I doubt he starts, but there is no reason not to feature a between the tackles read package with him.

Sorry buddy but this comes across as incredibly ignorant. If Sims is our best QB, then Sims needs to play.

If Coker comes here and he starts Blake Sims gives us nothing honestly. He is fast not as fast as I thought coming out of high school. You guys can forget a special package. It wont happened. We might see it twice a year.
