Nuss got named to the Broyles Award Finalist list. I know it usually goes to coordinators but my vote would have been for Cristobal.

Personally I prefer it when they have their hopes up until the final hour as opposed to the early concession. That's just me though

I really don't want Fournette (I think we have too many other needs) except for the schadenfreude-ian delight in watching the emotional Hiroshima on the LSURB.

I want Fournette because he is a great back, and he would see quite a fwe carries next year and be set up to start as a sophomore.

Admittedly though, that is not the main reason I want him. I believe the melt would be more enjoyable than having him on the roster. It's nice to be in our position though in that regard. We don't need him, they desperately need him.

I really just want Fournette to go to A&M because it would mean two schools are capable of coming into Louisiana and stealing top top recruits.

Andrew Bone posted a recruiting report on tidesports.com. Could someone summarize it?

Fournette would be the best back ever to put on a crimson uniform.

And Tabor runs a 4.6 40. I hate that. I like Peppers more, but I would love Tabor.

SIAP, but I saw a thread on BOL mentioning Bo Scar is seriously considering other schools.

If he decommits, do we offer Mixon or just have no backs in this class?

What runningback would be better? That size, speed, and vision... Who do you got?

Well seeing how the kid has yet to play a snap in any college uniform, I do believe it's a bit hyperbolic to crown him the best running back to ever put on an Alabama uniform considering the great running backs that have worn that uniform.

Just a guess.

That is fair. Let me rephrase. He is the best looking high school back out of any of the Bama greats.

Its just an "ignorant-type" statement until he gets it done at the college level. He has the potential to be... that's where you end it.

He is going to be one of those players I enjoy watching play no matter where he goes. I cant wait to see him play on Saturdays next year.

I hate that it has to be LSU. To put in perspective, Saban is not offering scholarships to people like Roc Thomas and Joe Mixon to better his chances. The guy is the truth.

He expects several more current commits to not be in this class. That's why we're still pursuing so many of the top prospects across the country.

Sounds like we are at point where we can ease off our contact with committed players and let them flip, while we go recruit a better player. That is cut throat sec football.

I saw on geaux247 a random poster said that Hampton is visiting LSU next week. Have any of you seen this news posted anywhere else?

He really didn't say much in terms of names and losing any recruit. However, he did mention that he is predicting Raekwon Mcmillan to Bama at this point! Try this link you may be able to watch it:
