Really big misses on evaluations during Stoutland's tenure. The man could coach up an offensive line to elite levels, but the recruiting choices made seem to have left a lot to be desired.

I preface his by saying that yes, I acknowledge the difference between "depth" and "quality depth" on the lines. Both exist, and yes, not every player that comes into the program is going to see significant playing time. But warm bodies along the lines play an important part in practice.
This said, look at the guys who may or may not ever see time at one of the five spots (Brandon Greene being the outlier because he may eventually contribute at TE):
Gulledge- Gone
Luatua- Will get shot in the Spring, but the window will be open only shorty before the bumper crop of this class arrives
Alphonse Taylor- I've read the speculation on his potential, but see Luatua's analysis
Douglas- Gray area on this one; Could have contributed, but had other issues away from football
Leon Brown- well....
All of this said, the question remains as to what extent Stoutland had an input in most of the recruiting targets. As has been noted before, he may have been hampered in his recuiting efforts due to the fallout from the Miami infractions. Nevertheless, I think the current class is going heavy on OL targets because of the upcoming departures from current players and the remaining talent level of those staying.

I never read the LSUrb but I'm bored and y'all got me curious.
Did they delete the Hootie thread because it got too melty? I don't see one.

A lot of threads have been deleted. The Hootie discussion is currently hiding in the recruit reaction to ATM thread
Right now there is some infighting about "insiders".
And..... It's gone

I didn't get to the end before it was axed
but what I read was pure gold.
And apparently it will be revealed in a couple of months who Memphis really is and where he gets his information.

@rivalsmike: Just hit @SportsDash saying #Alabama, #Stanford, #LSU and #PSU are the schools I think are biggest threat to #Michigan for Peppers so far

Good grief. The LSU fanbase is like no other when it comes to losing a kid to an out of state program.
I'm kind of embarrassed for them.

Tom Lemming once again proves that Nick Saban cant recruit.

If Peppers did come I guess Tabor wouldn't have a spot?
Thoughts?

That would be my assumption, I'm not as high on Tabor as others.
