I LOVE that exposed brick wall they are standing in front of. I want to do something like that on our back porch.

Hootie Jones visited LSU with his mom, stepdad, and godmother. They said it was hard to get a good read on him because he plays it close to the vest. He seemed comfortable hanging around John Diarse. They had breakfast at Les Miles house and are touring the campus to hear more about the academic support at LSU. His mom seemed comfortable as well.

Not sure if it's been discussed here, but does anyone know if, after the Frazier commitment, Saban will continue to pursue Elam hard? Especially after his knee injury? He's having an MRI tomorrow.

Frazier has nothing to do with Elam. It might speak to our staff's confidence of Smith or Dwight qualifying, or there could be unseen things with our current team that would cause our staff to want more DT. Or we could end up moving Frazier to DE.

As Chatt said it might be a numbers thing especially as Saban/Smart have started to use more of a 4-2-5 nickel against spread teams (we basically play 1 gap against spread teams and two gap against everyone else) that we may have adjusted up the number of true DT's especially the more athletic ones we keep around.

Ahhhh. Makes sense I guess. Just hoping that Elam's injury isn't serious.

With Stinson graduating and Pagan possible jumping to the NFL, Fanning getting kicked off the team, Love with medical issues, Orr about to be processed, and Paige and Gulledge no longer on the team. Bama needs some defensive lineman, that why Bama had to burn Liner's redshirt.

Rumor is....with Paige having to medical 
staff wants to load up on DL
Especially with Frazier slimming to 300 lbs, he's strong enough upper body to still play DT or 3 tech
Johnny Dwight, & OJ Smith are DTs

No way Hand is a DT. Even in a 4-3 he would need to put on at least 25 pounds and he doesn't appear to have room to add that much good weight. We are going to use him like we used Upshaw.
