Who is Patrick Porter and why is he showing up on the Alabama Target's Crystal Ball timeline?

Two people predicted him to Washington State today. I've never heard of him and he doesn't have a profile photo.

Patrick Porter - Profile

Mid-Season Senior Highlights

Looked a little deeper and found some film. I haven't watched them yet though.

Is he Recruit X this year?
Saban usually has a unexpected recruit late in the cycle.

I had offers from Alabama and FSU. I would rather live 50 years in Tuscaloosa than 4 years in Tally. The place is a shithole.

Tuscaloosa is awesome, I'm surprised more people don't know.

Alabama has two fewer commitments than when the week began, but nobody in Tuscaloosa is pushing the panic button. In fact, the Tide still leads the team rankings by a comfortable margin, is doing well across the board and has an average-rating-per-commit of 92.99. The next best number: Georgia at 92.21.

Ole Miss commit C.J. Hampton will see the Tide this weekend.
The Tide plays host to Chattanooga this week, and will have some official visitors. One of them is safety C.J. Hampton, a four-star Ole Miss commit and someone some believe could end up in the Tide class.

Also, Bama will have three official visitors from Ohio's Glenville High: offensive guard Marcelys Jones (an Ohio State commit), cornerback Marshon Lattimore and safety Erick Smith. Supposedly, the trio would like to play together in college.

Additionally, Tide inside linebacker commit Shaun Hamilton will official. Another Bama commit, five-star outside linebacker commit Christian Miller, plans to attend the game.

Guys, don't count on Jameis going to jail. High profile cases are already an uphill battle. Sex assault cases are already an uphill battle. Add in the TPD fricking up(always favors defense) and the victim basically not even wanting to deal with it anymore..... This is how it ends: Jameis plays, she gets paid a lot of money by the city, people lose jobs

Underrated recruit: Shaun Hamilton, LB

Alabama's class is downright silly, so it's easy for a great player like Hamilton to get overlooked. Yet he's going to be terrific in Tuscaloosa in a few years.

Hamilton, who is a 4-star linebacker, is 6'0" and 240 pounds. He has a thick frame, and he possesses an impressive work ethic. The Alabama native has terrific short-area explosiveness in the box, which allows him to generate great force when making contact with opponents.

He may not get talked about much due to the other talented players in the class, but Hamilton fits very well as an inside 'backer in Bama's defense.

If I was 18 it would be Tally not even close. At my ripe age of 48 it's Tuscaloosa.

He was a good kid, but also the big man on Campus and a lot of what happened at Hueytown wouldn't make it to the light of day anyway. There was a lot of lining em up and knocking em down so to speak according to one of his former HS coaches I am good friends with and even some minor situations that were swept under the rug (nothing this bad but some altercations), but he was the starting QB and star pitcher at Hueytown so you can imagine how "big fish in a little pond" he was. Hueytown's DC while he was there (Willie Wyatt) was my old DL coach and is now back at Gardendale HS (lives a couple houses down from my parents)

He also lived with a very strong determined grandma who raised him correctly until his Sr yr when his long lost dad suddenly developed a love for his long lost son who just happened to be a valuable two sport athlete.

LOL at this thread

There are tons of good LSU posters. Seriously. There are. However, if anyone starts a thread like this on this board I think I would be embarrassed. Some of those guys position themselves as "experts" and the flock follows willingly - and foolishly - because the "experts" are saying what they want to hear. It is highly entertaining.
