Yeah it appears so. This week gives me the . I know we will replace those who decommitted, but not getting Coker makes next year's quarterback situation look bleak.

Why has something developed with the Winston allegations. It sounded like much of nothing to me.

I doubt it. If Saban can't win with del Rio or Bateman, he's not the coach we all know he is. "Bleak" is far too strong a word. At worst, there will just be a few growing pangs. Luckily, WVU isn't looking very strong, and the next two games are against cannon fodder. Whoever the next quarterback is will have time to develop into his role.

And, no, I doubt Sims will be the starter. Saban doesn't even much care for dual threats anyway.

Yeah, I'd say "something" has developed. It doesn't look good.

Jameis Winston is looking guilty as hell.

She didn't wait to go to the police station. She accounts being drugged and raped at 1:30 to 2:00. At 4:00 she was filing a report.

Add to that the police tried to stall, cover things up, close the investigation (blatantly lie and say they never did), ignore blood work, then complain that the media looked in on this.... all the while Jameis has said nothing while two of his friends have attempted to give him an alibi and now the DNA....

Dude looks extra guilty.

Wow I just saw the DNA thread. There weren't any stories about this kind of behavior coming out of high school right? Thought he was a good kid. Not that he wasn't at that time but this is beyond bad.

He was a good kid, but also the big man on Campus and a lot of what happened at Hueytown wouldn't make it to the light of day anyway. There was a lot of lining em up and knocking em down so to speak according to one of his former HS coaches I am good friends with and even some minor situations that were swept under the rug (nothing this bad but some altercations), but he was the starting QB and star pitcher at Hueytown so you can imagine how "big fish in a little pond" he was. Hueytown's DC while he was there (Willie Wyatt) was my old DL coach and is now back at Gardendale HS (lives a couple houses down from my parents)

Hey bucc. I wanted to quote the REC " ain't nothing to eff wit " on the rant's JW thread but I will give the shoutout here. It is why I want The Chef on BAMA's defense in coming years.

I just don't get why the star QB at a school like FSU that is literally overflowing with sluts needs to go around raping girls. Makes no sense.

it does if you have had a few beers and someone rejects your advances and the urge hits you..if BMOC has had things in the past swept under the rug maybe he thought the same would happen here. Who knows

You're already talking about a kid who isn't that interested in football to begin with versus being passionate about baseball...and he could've just told MLB scouts that he was gonna be a left handed pitcher instead of an outfielder and he would've been a 1st rd pick and made millions straight outta HS but FSU staff and his parents and him chose a different path, the minute he told them he wanted to stick with OF he was at highest a 3rd rd pick. Staff at FSU had him convinced he could play baseball (OF) well enough that in a few years they could get him drafted in the 1st. Saban and Bama's staff lost out on him the second he tried to tell Winston he needed to stick with football and he'd make a better paycheck etc, and you also gotta remember the 1 coach I believe that he most confided in and his parents trusted Dameyune Craig is no longer down there so I also believe that has a factor or role in his life choices putting him into this situation.

If any of you want to see "pathetic" go to FSU's 247 board and read their defense of this situation.

SMH at that ignorance.

- If they were long time consensual partners why didn't she know his exact height and name?

- If they were long time consensual partners why would they need to take a DNA test and do blood work to prove they had sex? Jameis would just tell them they did... all the time.

Just go there and read that stuff. Bizarre crazy.

Word through the grapevine is a booster at Texas A&M, Ohio State or Alabama is paying her to say these things. why would this come up after Oregon lost putting FSU as a favorite to play for the national Championship and put Winston as the front runner to win the Heismen? The height is off, the timing is very suspicious and the story just sounds completely made up. One winston can get girls any time he wants it is frickin tallahassee two winstons gf came into the next night according to her twitter account. three Winston had absolultly zero reason to take advantage of a girl. This whole story is BS and i hope Matt Baker from the tampa bay times is fired!"

If theOcean is any indication, that fanbase is full of complete morons.

Have any of you ever been to Tallahassee? It's South Georgia trash. The place is practically a war zone. I hated driving through there on my way to Tampa when I lived down there.
