As I've said on multiple boards tonight, I pray we get to play Florida State so we can beat their arse and stop all this talk about how they are the best team in decades.

We would crush them. They've played a weak arse ACC schedule in a year when fricking Duke is slated to be in their championship game.

God I can't wait to see our boys frick their shite up.

Agreed.

They have tried to mimic everything built at Alabama by hiring anything that leaves the program. Hopefully someone guards the sewer treatment facility Saban's toilet feeds into.

It would be a lot closer than you think. This Florida State team matches up with Bama very well. It still pisses me off that they pulled Darby. He is a monster.

It'd be similar to the Georgia game last year, except without the lucky breaks. Like the blocked FG returned for a TD and the BS no DPI call because the ball was "tipped".

Florida State is the best team we could possibly face since 2009 Florida imo. I would even say they are better, but that was the last time I was like
"no way"

2011 LSU?

FSU's offense is better sure, but everything else about that LSU team stomps this FSU team.

Yep we beat State by 13 and it was considered bad because it was 20-7, FSU beat Boston College 48-30 which is just 18 but it looks better. Unlike say 2011 LSU or 2009 Florida this FSU team is giving up a lot of points to bad competition.

i am not as disappointed in the win as I am in how bad we looked..4 turnovers and numerous dumb penalties. If we had played that game against a really good team we would have lost last night. 4 turnovers against AU and we won't be able to outscore them unless they also have 4 turnovers.

Thing is, that stuff won't happen when the team is focused, and we've had these types of games after LSU the past few years.

CJ Hampton OVed to FSU this past weekend.

Notes:
Made the trip with an assistant coach from his high school
Likes that FSU is not afraid to play freshman
Says that FSU runs the same defensive scheme as Alabama and that he has been watching our defense for years.
Spent a lot of time with Pruitt
Not sure if he will be an EE
Wants it to be a family decision.
Will return to FSU with family on an unofficial visit in a few weeks.

but how do we know if they are going to be focused vs AU. We were not focused in AU in 2010 during the entire second half. I show up to my job focused every day whether I have a big day ahead of me or a slow one.

Not to mention that game was likely State's season (other than the Egg Bowl now)

CNS has said that teams can only really "get up" for 3 or 4 games a year. It's human nature. We still manage to win (and often dominate) in the games that we're not up for.

We weren't going to win anything though by beating Auburn.

This year the IB is for the West Title, and history is hanging in the balance.

Some people do. AJ, Norwood, Coop, Mosley, DePriest, HaHa, they showed up yesterday. No one else seemed to give a damn.

Hampton seemed really impressed with Tallaherpes and he keeps dragging his feet on Bama. Not good news at all that he wants to bring his whole damn family back. I say cut ties and take JuJu pls

Kareem and all the posters stroking F$U's shaft...the couple games I watched they are very beatable, Winston has been rattled a couple games like Wake Forest and against Miami their D (particularly secondary) was letting guys get open etc Miami's QB couldn't get the ball to them.

Nic's (Sandkhan) opinion made a lot of sense to me also, they are like Bama's team in 2009 with a better QB and have demolished soft ACC teams but against Bama with a month to prepare I like this team against any other team in the country
