He doesn't need to get that big. He's already 6'3" 230 pounds. Add 20 more pounds and he'd be a force at Jack.
Allen is going to be a DE.

The more I think about it, the more we need him too. Darren Lake hasn't taken that next step yet and Ivory will be a senior next year.

I think Lake's time is coming. He's played well this year. I love our DL next year. The only person we will lose is Stinson.

I agree. Pretty much everyone fretted over Ivory being our starting NT coming into the year and he's been just fine. I think it'll be the same with Lake although I think Lake has more upside than Ivory.

I wish we could get Tony Brown and Marlon. Stack great defensive backs and we dominate. We already have the safeties. Elam is a get a DT. Pick up evans. Then get LF for pissing off LSU purposes and to win the heisman later. I don't ask for anything at christmas.

Lots of different info on Elam. Where to begin?
-the national recruiting analyst who had previously picked Notre Dame has now switched his pick to Bama.
- KY 247 guy said he spoke to someone who was with Elam on his unofficial visit who still thinks that Elam ends up at KY. He wants to play where his mom can see him. Her financial situation is not very good. While moving her is a possibility, that typically doesn't work out.
-some speculation that the assistant coach of Elam's high school football team is encouraging him to go to Bama.
- we won the official visit sweepstakes. Both staffs were wanting him to official visit Dec 14, which is the last weekend before the dead period. He is set to announce Jan 4 at the US Army AA Bowl
-KY 247 insiders are interpreting us getting the nod on the OV as Elam drumming up more speculation in his recruiting. They are still confident that they will land him.
-Some poster on BOL was saying that Elam told current players he can't wait to be in Ttown. Can't vouch for this poster's credibility.

Where are you seeing that we won the OV sweepstakes? I haven't seen that reported yet.

Elam's Crystal Ball is now 50/50. Before this week Kentucky had a 70/30 advantage. It appears the only ones holding out are the Kentucky mods and a few national guys. Most of the BOL guys and Lucky have predicted Bama.
