Not to mention the mentality that comes along with the Hoover kids in general (Hoover U/Two A Days) seem to be convinced they don't have to stay in state.

BOL feels that we are in the upswing, but that Michigan still leads. I think it was posted earlier in the nuggets.

Hootie's mom came for Arkansas weekend, which was a big enough game to see. They spent the night, but couldn't stay long enough into the day to talk to Saban more.
Please believe, that even if mom can't get down to Bama, Saban has a way to show her about academics. The presentation doesn't have to be in person if the opportunity doesn't present itself.
And just to add on to the Marlon driving to Clemson, I think a few of you guys are reading into more than you should. His friends drove, not him or his parents. Free ride, free game (or Atleast cheap), why not go?
You guys forget that he's been to Bama games quite a few times these last few weeks. If I remember correctly, he came before and after that Clemson game. Don't give up on the guy just because he's shown legit interest in FSU. Just because he doesn't seem gung ho about committing to Bama at the moment and easing your minds, doesn't mean that "he gone".
Some of you guys beat up on the LSU guys when they go crazy over losing the edge, but y'all are starting to have mini meltdowns as well.
I'm not trying to argue with anyone, probably won't post again, but some ppl need to take a breather. Step away from the computer and come back after the next commit.

I still think Marlon chooses Alabama.
He just wants people to pay attention to his recruitment.
That doesn't happen if he doesn't play up his interest in another school.

Exactly, my take is maybe he just doesn't want to rub it in LSU's face that he's picking the Tide.
Why be on “ official visit ” when your home state school loses (hopefully) and commit a few days later ? No one wants the home state folks to see them as a villain. Just my 2 cents.

If we get Hand then Hump becomes irrelevant I mean with that pass rush of allen, hand, robinson then me, Sandkhan, Trey and ABDIW could be Bama's secondary.

Our Defense wouldn't get a consistent pass rush with Lawrence Taylor and Reggie White in their prime. It's all about staying in your lane, controlling your gap, etc. It's done that way on purpose, especially against dual-threat QB's. Our pressure will almost always come from corner/linebacker blitz. I wish it wasn't that way sometimes, but then again, it's what allows us to stop the run so effectively.

FSU fans are too stupid to become dentists. It's probably a manager at Best Buy hooking him up with all the free electronics he wants.
