One of these guys would be ok but Pruitt taking Hump, Johnson, Payne this is elite state level talent guys that have been talked about in state since they were freshman. To see these guys pick FSU when we are in the middle of a run like we are is enough to justify putting a code red on that entire family. Pruitt's don't have an ounce of loyalty or class in their systems. I get its just a job or whatever he is a friggin Bama alum he didn't recruit kids this hard when he was at friggin Bama.

I'd much rather he be on an OV. They can't really roll out the red carpet for an unofficial.

Tone it back. We don't need any of them.

It was on TI. Not sure if I'm allowed to link. Would it be considered premium info?

Just paraphrase. What they are saying in your own words.

We do need the players FSU is trying to take. We don't reload so well without top shelf talent. What they are doing is insane. Hopefully it leaves a sour taste in Saban's mouth. He will leave the starters in all 4 quarters against FSU in the NCG

He is sitting in Florida a state that produces 5 times the talent of a state like Alabama, his entire premise behind this is to antagonize Saban. Because that is what the Pruitts do they are classless bastards that like playing the villain. Hence why Jeremy doesn't even have custody (even partial) of his kids.

Saban will get one of the next best options. No need to get worried if FSU gets a few guys.

It was very short blurb: Hootie told TI this morning that the visit Saturday to Alabama would be an unofficial visit. Still plans on taking an OV to LSU for the ATM game and announcing Nov. 25.
The info did not mention when he would OV to Bama or why he changed it to an uov.

Perception is reality in recruiting though, if FSU took Winston, Hump, and Payne that would be the top player instate during 3 out of 4 recruiting cycles while we are dominating college football. Don't pretend like it won't have an impact.

I agree with Liberty. We aren't known to get our asses handed to us on the recruiting trail.

I would rather Hootie take his OV for the Chattanooga game, if that is what he plans to do.
There are a ton of kids taking an OV this weekend so he'd still have to split time. If he's willing to come on an UOV this weekend and return for his OV in two weeks it'd be a "win-win" for us.
Imagine how much attention he'd get if he was the only player visiting that weekend...

the guys he is getting from us are future first round draft picks as well. Saban is a meaningless factor at that point. More importantly fellas, look at the talent Hawaii has next year. I can only assume we establish a pipleline there?

But it really won't.
LINK
7 of the top 10 in the state last year. Paige is out now.
LINK
3 of the top 4, including the top 2 the year before.
LINK
2 out of the 6. Look how getting the other 4 worked for Auburn.
LINK
The entire top 5.
Losing them would suck, but it's nothing major. It's been said many times. The Saban pitch,
"I'll win with or without you."
Saban will haul in number 1 recruiting classes with or without those guys, and the machine will keep rolling.

When we are so slack at corner anyway.. Losing a 5 star in state db is painful. Our dline is know to be kinda sub par anyway. I would disagree with losing a 5 star tackle next season being whatever. FSU last year and this year have been loaded. Go look at what they lost last year and look at what they are this year.

I'd say our Corner problem is just youth.
We've got Roberts in this class too.
Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely high on Marlon. I loved VHIII coming out, and I like Marlon more at this stage than I did VHIII. But, again, it won't slow down the monster. It'll stop Bama from being as good as it could have (could you imagine VHIII and Marlon next year with LC and Vinnie at Safety?), but ultimately it won't stop Saban.
Got a good young group right now. A'Shawn has been good, Jon Allen has flashed. Dalvin Tomlinson is a young guy still. Hopefully we land Elam. Those guys are the future.

you try to spoil me with this. Roberts is far from a definite. We dont have the superstar corner we've had in years past. Our safety position is freaking stacked, but the corner position is kind of slacking. I'm just spoiled on Marlon being so god damn amazing. Also, screw John Fulton.

Sorry if I'm being dumb, but where is the worry about Payne to free shoes coming from? I understand the KJ and MH worry, but when did free shoes become a legit threat for Payne? I thought it was an Alabama/Auburn battle.

Everyone is a FSU lean as the season progresses.
