I just found it funny he thinks saban gathers advice from a coach on how to defend a one demensional offense that runs the option.

They have a thread over their talking about how now that we have CRob the OL we took from a program up north is out of luck. They mean Piersbacher, but have been calling him Hassenhauer. Good stuff.

And they think that they will get them. They are delusional.

Ever since the CRob commitment, I've seen Iowa fans on twitter hoping that Piersbacher gets dropped. It's like they think he deserves to be punished for choosing the evil empire

More from the Guice thread

quote:

Bama pays more than Ouachita Parish School System.

quote:

Guice is the poison. Must be taken care of one way or another. Just like the cat at St. Aug. Also a Bama plant, IMO.

quote:

Only Nick could have these bama plants promoting bama throughout the state of Louisiana. At some point people may start to regret that LSU ever hired that snake as its head coach.

quote:

This situation reminds me of the Trooper Taylor situation, and will probably end the same. These "handlers" don't care about the kid, its all about what's in it for them. Its sad that West Monroe will go the way of Thibodeaux after Taylor left that place in shambles.

quote:

we need to start out "handling" or "planting" Bama

quote:

I think it's time to get a young, Energetic North LA asst coach, increase the Recruiting Budget and do the homework necessary to know who are the influences with each individual recruit. We can't assume anything with these kids anymore. I would also get someone from the State of Alabama to start hitting them hard in their breadbasket like they're doing us. Hire Mike Shula, Dubose or someone like that...

Fire Cam & hire Shula as OC...BEST HIRE EVAR

Interesting thing about Ross P is that it was the same situation for Iowa, top OT in the state for a program that even has a better track record for putting OL in the NFL the last few years than even LSU

Big Cam just happens to be the top player in the country

JC ain't going anywhere & he's a C, Ross P is a jack of all trades OL but projects inside

What Jan. 9th did to the collective psyche of LSU fans is still so obvious today. They will not be able to get over that game for a long time it seems like especially if we keep beating them and pulling guys out of LA.

What I love seeing on the LSUrb is the guys with single digit posts that are so sold on the fact that we have to be cheating some how and that ESPN has rigged college football for us.

The last two crystal ball predictions from FSU insiders have Marlon going to FSU. How confident are y'all that we land him?

For some reason I always get nervous when Free Shoes gets involved. Call it the Jameis Winston effect.

Marlon is a must for this class. Can not allow FSU in on this guy. Winston was bad this will be worse. I would love to get FSU in a game in which we destroy them.

To an extent this, but really it started on 11/5/11. They really believed they were the better team.

The Crystal Ball thing was good when it first came out but now so called insiders can stir a bunch of crap with a pick and switch it whenever and it doesn't show on the record. AL.com Wesley Sinor for example picked Cam Rob to LSU last week then switched it right before

Remember that Marlon named Bama is leader while at FSU his last visit. If Winston were to have looked mediocre this week I guarantee you those crystal ball predictions wouldn't have been made.

Give it time. Pruitt's ability as a coach will come to the fore soon enough.

Even before MH was listing FSU as a school of interest, I was saying that they were our biggest threat for 3 reasons:
1. Elite track program
2. Great track record with 2 sport athletes
3. Pruitt's connections to HHS

All that said, he'll sign with Bama in the end

I would also imagine that Jameis has a pretty good relationship with Marlon as well. Lot's of folks are confident that we will land him in the end, but to ignore them (Pruitt/FSU) as a threat is crazy.
