A guy at the current camp was invited to return for a one day camp? in July. What exactly is that, and what does it possibly mean for the athlete?

I'd make the assumption they have enough interest in him to, at the very least, track his progression. July's camp is setting up to have the likes of Fournette and Ermon Lane, so there are some big guys penciled in for it.

We almost landed an Aussie punter for next year but tOSU decided to take him this year: LINK

quote:

“I do have in my film him punting the ball 80 yards, and I’ve got him on film with hang times of 5.2 to 5.4 (seconds),” Chapman said. “(It’s) continually 65 yards, ball after ball after ball.”

quote:

“If Cameron hadn’t gone to Ohio State, he would have gone to Alabama (next year),” Chapman said.

He's very agile and athletic and even faster than he was last yr getting up and down the court playing bball has helped that

Coaches loved him as a DE sounds like

Under the radar guy I like it

tOSU was the school Bama almost inherited a Punter from the past class, if I'm not mistaken. Decided to let him keep his offer and he enrolled.

He decided to stay closer to home and signed with UF which is why tOSU is bringing in the Aussie

Well Dwight only had two offers, one from us and one from LSU. I'll take him.

And for anyone wondering, once a player commits I take his profile and highlights out of his positional group and put him in the OP under commitments.

Ricky Town quote:

quote:

The rising junior entered the trip with UCLA and Stanford among the programs that stood out. Where does Alabama fit in after spending the better part of four days in Tuscaloosa?

“Alabama is definitely really high on my list right now. I really liked it- it’s definitely up there. They’d absolutely be (up there with UCLA and Stanford).”

Raekwon McMillan news:

quote:

"Right now, Ohio State, Clemson and Alabama are my top three," McMillan said.

Then, he added, "Nobody is in front."

McMillan, the No. 1 inside backer and No. 14 overall prospect in the 247Composite, insisted Ohio State hasn't slipped.

"They're not falling," McMillan said. "I'm not really focusing on recruiting right now. I'm focused on getting better."

And he is visiting Tuscaloosa next week.

Johnny Dwight quote to Carvell:

quote:

What about UGA and Georgia Tech? Dwight didn’t have an early offer from either in-state school. “Georgia talked to me a little bit, but they didn’t even offer,” he said. Would it have made a difference? “I don’t think so. Not with Alabama. They’re the champs.”

Tidesports.com said his offers were from Alabama, Clemson, LSU, N.C. State and Troy

One of those is not like the others

He is pretty lean too and staff apparently loved his explosiveness and LSU D staff even liked and offered him at DE as well

He's that athletic 295 like Fanning is

Carvell probably didn't like that. I hate the classless little prick.

Gregg O tweeted that Kizer is visiting next week - I thought he was visiting tomorrow. That must be what's holding up committable offers from going out til next week
