Reichard is the only one that had a chance last night to win a award, honestly he chokes to much to win the award. Being the all time points leader was the only way he was going to win.

While you are an obvious troll, who pathetically wastes their time on a rival’s board, there are a few kickers that rarely miss and the ones they do are just random ones in meaningless games where they didn’t focus. When they line up for a game winner, you know it’s going in.
There are many more who tend to make most of the “normal” ones but are inconsistent when under pressure. Will doesn’t miss often but when he does, it typically is a pressured one in a close game (Tenn game winner last year, LSU & AU this year) . The Mizzou kicker missed 3 more than Will this year, but his 61 yard game winner was the stuff of legends. Will deserved it over the Miami (OH) guy, but I would have been fine with giving it to the thicker kicker or someone who is nails in the clutch.
I didn’t watch Bama kicker Michael Proctor play, but I heard stories at kicking events that the dude was nuts. Apparently he was so crazy, he didn’t feel pressure. Kickers nowadays are apparently too sane and studious that they tend to get in their own head too much. Have to play loose and have “through the roof confidence” to have ice in the veins as a kicker.
Hoping Will has a long pro career and hits some awesome game winners along the way.
