Herb is the truth. Most will not notice he took two good charges. Freshmen normally don't do that in the first game.

Lots of fouls - some questionable, many earned. FT shooting still lacking.
Otherwise, it was a great opener mad even better knowing it happened with several starters and contributors out.

Very happy with the start and the outcome tonight.
Biggest concern: why the HELL do we still suck at free throws?? That is going to bite us in the arse more than once, probably in the biggest games. Please, please work on this and correct it!!

I mean 19/28 isn't excellent.. but 67% FT isn't as bad as we've been some games.

Fastest coach to the tourney in program history. Hope he can get it constantly improving to national contenders like softball and gymnastics. Volleyball was improving but seems to have plateaued.

Giddens played 5 total minutes and had 5 fouls and 0 points. He had 1 defensive rebound. That's all he did
