They seem to think a balance dribble that......moves you sideways off balance.....is an appropriate move.

But it's clearly acceptable, because we all do it. They aren't just randomly doing it in games every possession.

Probably, but for what 1 year?

If you have to have a 5-star lottery pick run your offense then your system is a problem. Not saying it is, but we don't seem to have a guard on the roster who can break guys down, and his Buffalo teams did.

This reminds me of a team of ball hogs. Talented, but can’t play together

Point Blank we miss Kira’s speed.

Yeah there's no one on this team who makes all 5 guys on the other team think "oh shite where's he at?" every time we grab a rebound.

The system doesn’t work and won’t work with this lineup. We have dumb players that don’t shoot well enough for this system and don’t defend for shite.

It gets harder to defend when your offensive possessions average around 8 seconds, you miss a shite, and then have to get back and defend. Repeat that 4 or 5 times and you’re sucking wind and before you know it you’re down 10 points. We just don’t have the shooters for this. If this is “the system” then you need at least 4 really good shooters on the floor at all times. We don’t have 4 really good shooters on the basketball team. I will be fricking shocked if this team has a winning record and expect something closer to 10-16 than I do .500

I know he's out tonight for some reason but Ellis has got to be a big piece moving forward. His athleticism and defensive abilities are in high demand.

Just drop basketball and start a soccer program. We could suck, but it wouldn’t hurt as bad as this shite

It's 3's or layups. When you have a guy running at you it is part of the system to pump him and go to the rim.

Ironically, the only guy who does that (Shack) can’t finish for shite inside the arc.

Not sure if this was intentional or autocorrected, but it is accurate describing this team's shot selection

Yep, and he hasn't seemed to get comfortable driving and deciding when to kick either. That is really hard and takes time. It took Kira 10 games or so to really get the hang of it.

But shite, the other guys aren't even doing it and making bad decisions. They're just standing around.

Unfortunately what we will probably get is more Alex Reese. God I can't wait for him to graduate. I really fricking hope he doesn't take advantage of the free year of eligibility.

Maybe I’m being a sunshine pumper, but it’s way too early in the season to jump out the window.

We certainly need a lot of work. I think the competition for who our 7th and 8th guys are should be wide open. I don’t think Rojas and Reese should be penciled in there at all.

Reese needs to not see the floor.

He’s very poor on both ends.

It's definitely too early to give up on the season, but there are some glaring issues and unfortunately personel fit appears to be one of them.

Hopefully they round into it.
