Setbacks are common with that injury, he will probably have some swelling after his first game back and may have to miss another game or two after his return unless he can deal with the pain and inflammation and play through it.

Saban said something similar, but Oats knows how crazy our fan base is and how much money we will throw at him if we have to. He doesn’t have huge expectations yet, and he’s already a top 15 paid coach. He won’t go anywhere for a while especially if he’s bringing in the #1 Pg every other year which is huge in his system.

Nate Oats signed an extension with Buffalo in 2019 but left 13 days later for Alabama.

After striking a new with UA, he stressed Friday he plans on staying.

“I want to be here, so I don’t really care what the buyout is for me to leave here."

I think they are most likely the primary concerns as well. Maybe Michigan if Howard were to be offered an NBA job or something.

This is like 3 weeks for them now. I think Teams are manipulating this shite to avoid getting their arse beat.

"Oats said he isn’t leaving unless they carry him out in a pine box"

I was thinking the same thing earlier but didn't want to say anything.

He lied about what would have been a very minor violation at Tennessee, which was an incredibly stupid thing to do for sure. The situation at Auburn is entirely different. What Person was doing wasn’t helping Auburn at all, it was making money for Chuck at the expense of Auburn. Don’t forget, we had a guy doing exactly the same thing.

We didn't have two players have to sit out a whole year, didn't have an assistant coach arrested, and don't have a postseason ban. We got probation, so obviously we weren't doing the "exact same thing" they got caught doing.
