I wonder if any other team has 6 players shooting over 35% from 3? doubtful.

Frentchi just needs to play to better his feel of the game! He will be a monster period! KAH will be a very good player in time shoot maybe even next year!

Some “easy like Sunday morning” reading:
The Crimson Tide's 115 points is the most ever scored in an SEC vs SEC matchup:
No. 11 Alabama Basketball Breaks SEC Record, Dominates Georgia 115-82
With seconds remaining in garbage time of the Crimson Tide's clobbering of Georgia, the freshman forward might have just recorded the dunk of the year:
Darius Miles' Dunk Puts Exclamation Point On Alabama Basketball's Commanding Win Over Georgia
The Crimson Tide is now just two wins away from clinching the SEC regular-season title:
No. 11 Alabama 115, Georgia 82
In the last article, make note of the box score. No Bama player attempted double digit field goals, three pointers nor free throws, yet Bama scored 115 points. It was an observation made during the post game press conference. Roll Tide!

what's the highest sec score in a non-OT game? They keep referencing Kentucky at 120 in the 90's. There's a higher # than that?

The tears of our enemy:
MBB: DAWGS FALL TO BAMA
Not really tears - just an article from Bulldawg Illustrated.

Yep. His skill level for a guy his size is rare. Combine that with the fact that he only started playing basketball when he was like 16 and his ceiling is pretty much limitless.

Anybody would've told me Herb Jones would lead the team in 3 point % I'd have laughed so hard

You would've gotten good odds on this team getting 16 SEC wins before conference play started too. Crazy.
Hope A&M behaved over the weekend.

Auburn is legit better than Kentucky imo. I"d rather play the Cats. They have the best player.
Bruner getting close now.

Could not remember if this rat poison has been posted here yet or not:
Gonzaga Basketball: 5 teams that can defeat the Bulldogs this 2020-21 season
Alabama Crimson Tide (16-5, 10-1)
In the regular season, we saw an elite offensive team (Iowa) unable to keep up with Gonzaga. We also saw an elite defensive team (Virginia) unable to stop them from scoring. And when factoring in the high number of possessions in which the Bulldogs play, there has to be a team who can play at a fast pace while still being a quality defense.
The one team besides Baylor who fits that description is Alabama. They’ve been a top-10 team in the past month despite a pair of recent close losses and still dealing with various injuries throughout the roster, including now having starting center Jordan Bruner. When fully healthy though, the Crimson Tide has an eight-man rotation that can cause Gonzaga fits on both ends.
On offense, Alabama has four double-digit scorers, led by sophomore Jaden Shackelford at 13.7 ppg. Villanova transfer Jahvon Quinerly has looked solid at his new home, while seniors John Petty and Herb Jones also are putting up double figures, with Petty as one of the best three-point shooters in the country.
If freshman guard Joshua Primo can be more consistent offensively, then the Tide’s offense will become lethal. Even without a proven big man scorer inside, this offensive in transition is hard to stop.
And speaking of the senior duo, Petty and Jones would have an even bigger impact on the defensive end against Gonzaga. Both can guard 1-5 if need be and has the size and length to be very disruptive. They’re similar to the Bulldogs where the high number of possessions undervalues how good the team’s defense is. According to Kenpom, the Tide is No. 1 on defense right now and that’s still without Bruner on the court. He’ll be back by the SEC Tournament and would be the primary defender for Timme inside.
If the game becomes a shootout, Alabama would be comfortable with the score in the 90s. They also average 30 attempts from deep per game, and Gonzaga tends to give up some shots from three-point range. And they’re good enough defensively to frustrate the Bulldogs to make it a close game. And if Petty gets hot from deep… look out.

After hanging 115 points on Georgia yesterday, #Alabama is now top-15 nationally in all of these metrics: Performance ranking (#6), schedule strength (#14), record quality (#5), pace (#12), offensive efficiency (#15), and defensive efficiency (#6). Also our topmost two-seed.

It definitely feels like (and the metrics agree) that we've gotten a pretty solid amount of luck on opponent 3-PT shooting. I hope that doesn't reverse come tournament time.
