When players or their family members get into it with fans on social media one of two things has happened. Either fans are tweeting at them, or they are actively looking for fan reactions on social media. Either way someone is being fricking stupid.

I don’t blame her. There is absolutely no excuse for so called fans to go about trashing athletes. Especially not college athletes.
Alas, Ms. Quinnerly needs to recognize that when people do this it says a lot more about them than it does the player.

Listening to Oats on Hey Coach it sounds like Herb is gonna play tomorrow night. Said they may eventually have to sit him out a game or two to get him ready for end of the season stretch.

Mrs Q needs to recognize that when a young man plays for a big time program, there will be some shade thrown his way from time to time. It isn't personal, or shouldn't be.
Q has a habit of driving in among the trees and turning the ball over. No ones perfect.He may be told to do that, if so that's on Oats. I'd love to see him develop a floater or teardrop type shot it would eliminate a lot of that

All I know is a couple people I know said earlier “Why did JQ’s mom just follow me?” and then we saw that tweet. Idk if she’s following the people talking crap or she’s just following a bunch of Bama fans just to make sure they aren’t

There probably isn’t any way to stop the truly destitute of character from exercising their nature, but it doesn’t make their behavior any less reprehensible. Nor should we just give them a pass because they have no life of their own, live through somebody else’s achievements and then praise or dog them based on whether or not they have pleased them that day.
I get discussing things and even healthily critiquing of a player or team. Anyone has to recognize that such can and is going to happen. If your kid isn’t getting the job done people are going to talk. But, imagine if somebody went out and publicly dogged your kid over a game. You’d be pretty furious too. You might even confront them publicly and with hostile language.
