Keyshawn Bryant is the x factor tonight imo. If we limit him, we should be fine.

That draw has the potential to give us a legit path to a deep run.

10 high-impact college basketball seniors, ranked

quote:

3. John Petty Jr. — Alabama, Guard

Similar to Baylor, Alabama has four players scoring in double figures this year. John Petty Jr. is one and the the 6'5" guard averages 13.1 points and 5.2 rebounds per game for a team that may be the biggest surprise to some fans in the SEC.

Or get bounced by Kansas in R2.

Watching these over the season, along with most other stats, emphasizes that it's Gonzaga / Baylor and then about 15 or so other good teams that would all be favorites over each other at home and toss ups on a neutral court.

It's certainly possible, but Self has a well earned reputation for early postseason departures.

I don’t like that draw. I don’t want to see a Kansas in the second round and us favored. Line down to -6 btw

This isn't your typical Kansas team, they are 7 and 6 in conference. Tennessee beat them by 20 points.

True. Still wouldn’t want to catch them though.
Give me one of the other 7s like Va Tech or Ok St. all day instead of Kansas.

I’d rather play Kansas than V tech, V Tech is good, they beat Villanova. They also beat 9th ranked Virginia by 14 points.

Tip off only in a couple hrs.
If we make most of our layups, cut down on unforced turnovers, we'll go to 16-5 (11-1).

7-5 in conference.

They have wins over Creighton, Texas Tech, West Virginia, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

Lost to Gonzaga by 12 and Baylor by 8.

They obviously aren't one of the great Kansas teams, but they are still good enough to beat us in a one game scenario.

Please let us get aggressive JQ tonight. Getting him to be aggressive like he was before he got Covid will turn our season around
