Absolutely, but I think that directly comes from confidence and talk the fight to the opponent.
We were playing on our heels the first 35 minutes.

The design of the plays were great by Oats and staff, but don’t design them for Herb. He can’t finish well and he hasn’t for four years. Find a way to have Petty cleared for a 3 or trust that Ellis or maybe JQ/Shack hit a miracle runner(I doubt it). However, Herb has continually proven he can’t with any amount of contact.

Yep that’s a good assessment. Herb just isn’t good at finishing. Need somebody else to finish. The thing is herb is our facilitator and in that play situation he should’ve dished it out to shack

I watched Ohio State and Iowa play the other night and it’s just a different level of execution. We have to pick up by a ton before March if we even want to win a few games

This. If anyone thought we were going to have a shot to win the game after the 1st half they would be lying. I think we did a great job coming back and getting a chance to win the game. Hopefully, this will be a wake up call for them. Last few years, it would have been a worse loss. We would have never gotten back in the game.

How about not wait until you're down 20+ points and 5 mins left in the game for that is what I'm saying. The shots not falling is not a excuse for the horrid defense for 3 quarters of the game

Primo looks pretty passive to me. He's not real active on the offensive end right now.

I mean I agree but I'm saying that sometimes you have to manufacture that if the opponent punches you in the mouth early.
We did with the pressure, and maybe we should use that more often to shake things up.

Ohio State and Iowa are also both great offensive teams and shitty defensive ones, so offense in that game is definitely gonna look pretty.

Herb just blew the first layup in a way that he's done for a long time, but this is a foul 100% of the time. Doesn't matter when it happens.
