He had time to pump fake. They showed guts coming back from it, not a bad loss.

That was the stupidest game I’ve ever seen. How do you play so bad for 85% of the game then almost come back from a 22 point deficit just to lose the game on the worst no call in history.

That sucked. Fight all the way back and miss a point blank lay up.

Herb missed an easy layup that cost us against WKU as well. He’s just not a good finisher and I hate the play went for him.

Remarkable comeback but wtf those last 3 possessions were horrible. Don't give an unreliable finisher in Herb the ball with the game on the line. Then Shack gets an open look, only to have one of the worst shots from 3.

This. I hope this helps them moving forward. We have had two loses with chances to win at the end. I would point out they were both on the road, and the refs were freaking blind.

Those refs were horrible though. I mean HORRIBLE!!!

No they weren’t. It was a well officiated game. They missed a couple of fouls down the stretch, but that’s the norm in college basketball.

You're right, Ellis should have had the ball in his hands instead of herb

Damn it we had 2 great plays called

Yep. Those last few plays were good calls. The players just didn't execute.

I hope this makes them hungry and I hope we face Mizzou again in the SEC tournament.

Herb needs to learn how to negate shot blockers

We’ve now played subpar for 5 straight games. No longer a blip on the radar but a trend. I don’t have the warm and fuzzies going forward but I guess we will be playing mediocre teams from here on out. Just trending very poorly.

Petty was open too if the key right behind Herb and Reese. Shackelford would not be the one I picked to take the last second shot. Petty is the obvious choice. Live and die by him there.

What a bs comeback. All of that for that trash at the end.

I was actually really pleased with the push at the end of the game. If we had played like that all day, we would have won going away. We were getting blistered with 10 minutes left though. They showed a lot of fight to make it a one possession game and to give themselves a chance to win at the end. I’m much less frustrated than if we had waltzed to a 30 point beating.

We can't press and run the whole game, but the way it opened things up for us offensively and rushed Missouri has to make Oats think about trotting it out some more, right?

The press and open looks on the other end got our entire offensive juice back.

Big picture a loss is probably for the best. We deserved to lose. Have to learn you can’t come with that kind effort and focus. Maybe we will get hungry again. We don’t resemble the team from a couple weeks ago right now.

don’t like going to Jones on both possessions, he’s barely played this game and is hurt.

Ellis should’ve had the ball

Glad I'm not the only one who thought this. Ellis had zero touches last, yet he's primarily the reason we cameback. Herb getting the ball was dumb.
