What do you guys think about starting Bruner at 4 and then Gary at 5? Primo should remain a starter for the remainder of the year. Also echoing what you guys have already said and say Ellis needs way more minutes.

Gary is way too short to play the 5. He would even be a small 4.
Even though he seems to play more like a forward that a wing, he is only listed at 6’6.
That’s 2” shorter than Herb, only 1” taller than Petty, and the same size as Primo and Ellis.

Gotcha. Seems we play him at 5 sometimes. He looks bigger than he's listed.
Our fricking luck that Alex Tchikou tore his Achilles tendon. He would be raw as hell, but I think Oats brought Bruner in to play 4 and not be solely relied at 5. Once Tchikou got injured, it messed up his lineup.
We're fricking cursed. Barner fans are already making fun of the Oats hire, despite it only being year two for him. It took Pearl four years to get their garbage program to where they are now. We shouldn't be better considering the talent on the roster, but I don't think it's filled with the skilled players Oats wants. Herb is offensively challenged; Reese is Reese; and Petty is hit or miss.

I mean, why is Oats still wasting minutes on Reese? For 3 fricking years, he’s been the same on the court spectator. Just pull the plug and give him garbage minutes only.

Well fellas I see we suck again. Haven’t watched most this season, but I like Bruner. Seems we kind of have a mismatch of styles. I don’t think the Avery era players are designed to go fast.
We might work best playing a fast lineup and a slow lineup, but I doubt Nate will do that.

I'd give them both about 10 minutes on the court to show they aren't sulking and pouting. If I got one whiff of a bad attitude, they could sit back down and watch the game from the pine until they adjusted said attitude. Time for Nate to lay down the law.

Gary, at least looks to have the ability to play above the rim. He looks like the kind of player that Wimp recruited. An explosive jumper. I think we have a bunch of players that are all about the same and you just dont have a go to player-someone that is better than the others. I would think that our coach will cut back on the number of players and try to focus on 7 or 8 players. Personally, I would play Gary more, and watch him improve.

Our efficiency numbers actually seem to be better this year in a lot of areas. We just ain’t making shots.
