This feels like a game that is about to flip in the 2nd half. UConn is shooting 23% and Maryland is making contested 3s and UConn is "only" down 11.

I'm thinking the same thing because I'm not sure if Maryland can continue hitting threes at the clip they are!

Don't really disagree, but I do wonder if Maryland getting to 60 points would be enough.
UConn plays at a pretty slow pace and Maryland is a pretty good defensive team. Didn't love the shots UConn was getting that half.

Good point - UConn missed some layups, but they also missed a bunch of tough mid range contested jumpers - which isn't really unlucky.

Ohio is the only one of those teams who is interested in playing fast and it's pretty much impossible to play fast against UVA. Those are just some bad matchups for entertaining basketball as a neutral viewer.

UCONN plants one big guy in the paint and he gets in the way of Bouknight's drives. They then put another big guy that can't shoot at the 3 point line. Then they have a small forward that doesn't seem involved in the offense at all.
They remind me a little bit of Kentucky on offense. With better guards.

“This game is good because it proves that we can shoot horribly and still win.” - Bama fans after every game since January.
Rewatching some of the tape from the last few games, the periods during which we play consistently good ball are for whatever reason when Quinerly and Gary are on the floor at the same time. Hope to see more of that.
