Well blowing out State in the first round of the SECT didn't overly carry over to Tennessee, so maybe this tighter than it should have been game will energize them.

But the stats have been posted in this thread. When Petty is good, we are really good. When he’s not, we have to grind shite out. This tournament is going to be very difficult if he continues to struggle.
Maybe he’ll just....snap out of it.

Ugly af but our defense travels regardless of how awful we shoot it. Hopefully Petty sleeps really well the next couple of nights and finds a heater. Thank goodness for Reese knocking down a couple huge shots because we had butts clenched at that point.

I’m more worried about the FT shooting. We have been pretty good this year but have kinda struggled down the stretch

If I were CNO, I'd start Quinerly over Petty, and let Petty come off the bench. But I guess CNO knows 1000% more about basketball than I do, so what do I know.

Just checking in to say congrats and a tip of the hat to the game MVP, Alex Reese. That’s like the 3rd or 4th game in a row he has hit a 3 to get us going again. Congrats R33S3!!!!
