You know we don't have to watch that this year, right.

I saw an article about NIT predictions yesterday and then had the realization that I don't give a shite. It was nice.

Dickie V is the gangster.

Have learned that Texas A&M basketball forward Kevin Marfo has entered the transfer portal. Started eight games this season.

Remember how hot his name was in here last year before he transferred to aTm?

I saw something the other day about this years NCAAT play-in game with Norfolk State and still got up in my feels.

LSU still acts like nothing happened with Wade. It's pretty embarrassing. Dude was caught on the phone in one of the worst cheating scandals ever? it's like getting caught with a gun over a dead body?

Final Four, March Madness predictions -- ESPN college basketball experts' tournament picks

quote:

Clearly college basketball observers are nervous about top-seeded Michigan in the East, with three losses in its final five games and the uncertain injury status of star Isaiah Livers giving bracket-fillers pause. Only one ESPN respondent -- Hall of Fame broadcaster Dick Vitale -- liked the Wolverines to reach the national semifinals. The beneficiaries of the uncertainty around the Wolverines were Texas, Alabama and Florida State. A total of 11 predictors think the Longhorns will reach the Final Four for the first time since 2003, 10 have the second-seeded Crimson Tide reaching the semifinal stage for the first time, and nine like Florida State (9 picks). UM fans still looking for reason to believe should note that Juwan Howard's group is still the overwhelming BPI choice to be in the semifinals at Lucas Oil Stadium, at 36.5% to come out of the East.

There were a bunch of transfer flops this year. The kid from Rider that went to Ole Miss (Vaughn) and was ranked as one of the 2-3 best transfers hardly even played and then left the program.

If the NCAA wants to maintain the thin, crumbling veneer of amateurism that college basketball still has they need to hit Kansas, Arizona, and LSU so hard that they have at least one walk on on the court at all times for the next 3-4 years.

I don't really get it because like we talked about yesterday he seems to be another dude like Shack, but he's a great shooter and this staff has earned my trust when it comes to personnel so if they want him I'm not going to second guess them.

We don't know what he's heard from us either.

Could be as simple as Pettway - who would know him - just called him to say "I heard you were transferring, how are things going for you?".

Cry me a river, Will. You deserve whatever comes your way.
We start seeing multiple guys in the portal, it might be hitting them soon.

Why would Vitale not bring up a news story about the team he's announcing? GTFO is right.

Because Wade probably asked him not to.

Even if we lose to Uconn in the second round, I think i'm just over the recent history of the program as a comp as it relates to the program in its current state with this staff in present day and moving forward.

Does anyone know what UConn has on the inside? I know everyone is putting it all on Bouknight, but our perimeter defense is what is elite. We match up really well with a big time guard.

It's a big time offensive big that's going to cause us trouble.

Watford (SECCG), Tillmon (@MIZ), Bassey (WKU), etc.

That's going to be our issue if we make it to Texas and some of those Big 10 guys (Dickinson, Cockburn, Garza, etc.)

He does have pretty similar stats to Shack. The only thing in his defense is he's fairly clearly a better 3 point shooter. He's basically exactly 40% from 3 on a high volume (around 6 a game) over the past two years, whereas Shack is around 34% on a similarly high volume.

Can he defend? I have no idea. He's efficient from the 3 point line and the foul line and pretty inefficient...everywhere else.

The NCAA isn't going to do much of anything to LSU or Auburn because if they do then they have to hit protected Kansas and Arizona as well. Just dragging it out is the main punishment to be handed out.
