The refs were mostly great all game. They let them play which is what I personally want. I was terrified when I saw the Doug Shows pop up earlier.

Arguably Ellis’ biggest play hasn’t even been mentioned. He had Smart one on one with us up 80-79 and blocks his shot.
That was high level defense - if you’re LSU you feel good about Smart getting an ISO there. He’d had a lot of success going to his right all game.

Y'all might hate me for saying this, but I finally feel good about this team again. They just took the A games of two really talented and motivated tournament bound teams and won.
These guys have some intangibles. I really don't know for sure how they do it, but they just find ways to win.
I am not going to share my predictions for the tourney because I don't want to get hopes up or to eat crow. I will just note that this team is NOT fragile.

That was the best officiated game I’ve seen in a long time. That it was Pat Adam’s and Doug Shows on the whistle is kind of blowing my mind. They missed some calls, but to my eye they missed them on both ends. And I don’t really remember any weak foul calls all game.

I missed it. What happened between coaches pre-game? Who was involved? I'm guessing LSU tried to punk us?

Had an uncle saying the same thing about Petty, and I reminded him shite everything else Petty did to help us. I'm glad Oats pulled him in the 2nd half, because he was flustered and needed a quick break. Without him and contributing in other ways, we lose that game

I feel great about them. They're back in a groove and are locked in.
If we shoot it better we can win every game we play.

Regardless of what happens in the big dance this season has been a huge success & that's an understatement. The foundation has been set for many great seasons to come with all the elite talent getting onboard.

They let them play - both teams were hacking a bit with a lot of no-calls. I think a few more calls should probably have been made, but they kept it consistent on both teams and throughout the game - which I think is the most important thing
