Wonder when we'll hear if Anderson Diaz will reclassify or not.

Only thing going on under the table at a nice restaurant would be paying their staff. Pitino isn't hiring from Backpage. He's getting high end hookers that know how to behave in public. Though I do feel bad for the housekeeper at Pitino's hotel.

The word is that's a big reason why he committed to us, and we were trying to help make it happen.
I really like what I've read about him. Sounds like he's a straight up baller, but small enough where a 1/2 and done is unlikely. As a saw someone else write elsewhere, getting a guy like him used to be a Golden Nugget. An elite guy that's the NBA isn't calling, and you'd have for 4 years tearing shite up. But with the portal, it seems like you'll get 2 years with a guy before he goes somewhere else.

“Pitino admits to police that he had sex in 2003 with Karen Sypher, the ex-wife of former staffer Tim Sypher, on a restaurant table. Sypher was charged with trying to extort money from Pitino to keep their tryst secret and convicted in July 2010 and was released from released from prison this past July.”

I think he comes back and we try to make him into a Dylan Harper type of PG. Teach him to use his big body against smaller guards. Rebound. He might be better in that role than as a spot up shooter.

If we get Allen and Biz back, this is assuredly a top 10 team. Allen is the more important one there.
I am still worried about how we match up against a team like FL, but we should be better down low than last year. If Collins is healthy I think he makes a huge defensive impact with his size and athleticism.
I think Garrison shoots 35% from 3 on volume this year too. Hes gonna be a monster with proper motivation.

Assuming we keep Amari and Biz stops smoking da wee-duh (stephen a voice), it really is a matter of how much our PF/C signees come through. We need Garrison and Fielder to be solid senior bigs on a team that ought to be great on the perimeter. Davis-Fleming and Bristow just need to be energy forwards.
We're probably better off overall at 4 and 5 than last year.

forgot about DF. I like what we did overall. We have plenty of interchangeable depth at the 4 and the 5. With the wings we have, we have versatility. Defense should be significantly better than the last 3 years.
It will help that I think we arent going to be playing hero ball at the 1, 30% of the time. We've played defense the last 3 seasons essentially 4 on 5, because our lead guards struggled while trying to rest on defense. Like Sears before him, Philon had abysmal defensive numbers this last year as a high volume scorer. I think the staff will stop relying on one guy like that, we will get buckets as a team.

Sherrell has potential to be a very good college big but never put it all together here. He’s limited by his inability to play above the rim even a little bit despite being close to 7ft tall. That shouldn’t be debilitating but he’s not getting great position for rebounds and pretty soft with how he tries to shoot in a crowd.
All that said, we had more potential in the front court because Sherrell really ought to be a better player than he is but we also lacked pure numbers and didn’t really have the complimentary defensive bigs for a wing and guard heavy team.
Also I forgot Jemison earlier but I’ve got to wonder if he gets a try at 3 even though I think he could be a really good college power forward. Especially if he had one last late teens/early twenties growth spurt.
