He's actually improved quite a bit since he arrived, but the knee injury might cause a set back. Carl was easily the worst big man I'd ever seen play for Alabama his first 2 years. His junior year he was just starting to show some promise, but then the knee injury happened. 7+ footers and knee injuries don't mesh well. Taylor will probably be our best center this year.

Anthony Grant said Levi Randolph was able to practice Wednesday and is "possible" for Friday's Oklahoma game. #Alabama

Anything new on Lee? Is he still planning on committing tomorrow?

As far as we know he is. I actually think he will pick Bama, but a lot of people also think he will choose UGA. He's kept his recruitment quiet, so it's kind of hard to tell.

Probably good for us actually. Hadn't he been to SMU and UGA more recently than Tuscaloosa?

Oh. Well in that case maybe we can get him in March when he demands a release after Fox is fired.

Well it could be a good thing for us, if UGA was his favorite.

Had a feeling this was going to happen. But I was really hoping we could get Lee and then go out and beat Oklahoma to complete a great day for Bama basketball. Now I hope we can at least go one for two in that department.

Larry Brown was in Alabama to see Purifoy yesterday, but he probably visited Lee as well. Makes me think SMU is still a player unlike what most thought.

So a Bama guy who's thought Lee was ours for the longest time, now thinks that we won't get Lee. He also says Carl isn't planning on leaving unlike what most people originally thought.
