Lee was quoted in the Selma Times-Journal saying it came down to UAB and SMU because he wanted to be different by going to a small school.

At UAB he will be Memphis's whipping boy at the 3 or 4

You want to know how I know you're not a a real memphis fan or even follow them in general?

Somebody talk to me about Isacc Haas. He's the #2 player in the state and was crystal balled 100% to UAB, but apparently flipped from Wake Forest to Purdue today.

How hard did we recruit this kid?

Not very hard at all. He's thought to be a little more talented Carl.

Ahh ok. I didn't know much about him at all, just wondering if he would be somebody we would miss down the road.

There's always that chance. I wouldn't be surprised if he was eventually a good player for Purdue. I'd rather him be successful there than UAB.

I don't think so. The kid is 7'2" and didn't seem to play much on his AAU team, and when he did he was very underwhelming. From what I can gather is he is a freshman Carl with better hands.

as much as I love uab I support this kid 100% in going to Purdue.

UAB and coach Haase are building something though.

Memphis doesn't play uab anymore.
Memphis left for the Big East/ AAC

No way Haas is the number 2 player in the state.

He isn't. Lee and Norris are easily better.

I based that off 247's ranking, not my personal opinion. I admittedly know nothing about Hass.

That's actually the composite rankings. 247's actual rankings are better.

ESPN ranked Alabama's early signing class as 3rd best in the SEC behind UK and UF with an A- grade.

Didn't feel like it deserved it own thread, but figured I could put it in here.

Jay Bilas ranks us as the 66th best team in the country.

The Tide are good on the defensive end, but tough to watch on the offensive end. This team fights and competes, but if it doesn't score more efficiently, winning consistently will be difficult.
