No. I'm one of those guys who says we need to focus on quality players that we have a legit shot at so we can use all of our scholarships on high major prospects instead of settling for some dude whose skill set is: warm body, can dribble a basketball. What is the difference in signing a guy who has little, if any, chance at ever contributing and just not signing anyone? There isn't any.

Players like Nored have very little to any impact on a high major level. If you didn't know any better you would have watched Butler and said,"WOW! Why didn't Alabama do all they could to keep Avery Jukes."

The point that we dont have a backup point guard or a backup 4 or 5 at the moment. Nored could be a good backup. Every player in basketball doesnt have to be a major player. Just a role player. That was CAGs problem he had too many players that wanted too many minutes so they would transfer. Look i guess we just disagree on this

I saw that Norris was telling some guy on twitter that he grew up a fan of Alabama. I also saw that Ahmed Hill was offered by Florida so our chances of landing him probably got even smaller.

Jerry Meyer also says Alabama leads for Norris.

I could fap a little to a Coleman-Jackson-Norris-Turman/Cofer-Haas class.

I would love to get Haas, but honestly he might be the hardest kid on that list for us to land. Not sure how far his resentment for his father goes, but he may not be fond of going to his dad's old school and having to listen to all the old farts talking about how great his father could have been if he wasn't such a dick-for-brains.

Dan has him ranked behind guys like Turman and Cofer. I guess Reed was hyped early on because he's always been huge, but it would seem as if he still hasn't developed as a player.

Dont care where they are ranked. That kid is a 7 footer and very athletic. I think he goes to Auburn and would go to Tech if he had the grades.

I trust Dan's evaluations so I'd much rather have Turman/Cofer.

Nothing we don't already know. He just put 12 guys and what Bossi had said about them at some point in one of their evaluations. He left out guys like Haas and Turman though.

@JeffSentell_
Lewis Sullivan said he has offers from Alabama, FSU, Georgia, Ole Miss, Oregon State, W. Kentucky and UAB. Auburn has yet to offer.

He's expected to end up at Tennessee but it's something to look at.

I'd rather have Coleman. Expecting a true freshman to step in and start at PG in a retarded offense like ours is a little ambitious though. Should have signed one last year.
