He doesn't have a Vandy offer from what I see.
In fact, we are probably the best academic school to have offered him unless his profile on Rivals hasn't been updated in a long time. His other offers are:
Auburn
UAB
OM
State
Belmont
Wright State
Mercer

Kid may be the best player in the state for this class averaged 22.4 PPG, 11.1 RPG, and 4.5 last year. Like to see Grant get these skilled guys that have size like Hale and possibly this kid.

I'm just not on the Riley Norris train, but oh well.

Coleman is easily the best. After that the 2nd best Alabama prospect could be any of Norris/Lee/Sullivan/Haas/Houston/Lang from what I have heard.

Not sure if Vandy has offered yet, but I know they watched him play the other day. Norris fits the profile for a Vandy player with his smarts and shooting ability, so my guess is they'll offer if they haven't already. Again, haven't heard much on his recruiting, but from a couple articles I've seen it seems likely that he'll choose academics over sports. The articles kind of reminded me of the ones written about the Damien Jones kid we went after a little in the 2013 class.

I think Riley is a big recruit for us. We need to keep the best kids that we have in state. Get him Colemon and a big and im ok with this class.

@JucoRecruiting
Chad Frazier (6-4/G/Gulf Coast) has narrowed his list to: Washington, UCF, South Carolina, Texas A&M, WVU, Marquette & UCLA

To me, our biggest recruit is getting a top PG. I'd prefer it be Coleman, but I'll take any good PG we can get. Then I'd worry about getting a top 100 big man. After that, getting a SG and SF really doesn't matter to me. I'd take talent at either position but we have to have a good PG and big man in this class.

I'd be very happy with a Coleman-Jackson-Cofer/Turman-Norris class. I think we may end up being able to take 5 guys in that class though. We have 10 right now, will have 11 next year unless we sign someone else in this class, and lose Releford, Carl, and Gueye after 2014, which would bring us down to 8. This is all assuming no one transfers or opts for getting paid in Europe or the D-League.

I think we need at least one really good wing in the 2014 class. I'd hate to be replacing Lacey, Cooper, and Randolph with three freshman.

I saw this on rivals about Haas:
Isaac Haas, 7-0, 250 pound center from Hokes Bluff took in his second UAB game and he likes what he has seen at UAB - but he hasn't started to narrow down his choices yet - but he will need to - he has over 40 offers so far.
"I've got offers from UAB, Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Clemson, Tennessee, East Tennessee, Baylor, Harvard, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, Samford, Depaul and George Mason and some others."
Haas says he "wants a good academic program, I want to be the best I can be academically, have a good basketball career and hopefully go to the NBA."
"I'm a get up and down the floor guy," Haas said. "I love to run up and down the floor, I've been working on being more aggressive, hook shots and dunks. My coach trusts me to dribble and go to the goal."
"I love basketball," Haas said. "I love it. Sometimes I go to sleep with a ball in my hand. He is currently averaging 26 ppg, 15 rpg, 8.5 bpg and 3.5 apg.

Yes.
His roster management and decisions on which players to focus on leave a lot to be desired though.

I think we need to make sure we get players from the state. It is as if he looks at rankings or something. You will see solid players from our state on other teams that werent highly rated and I hate that.

I'm not seeing these players you speak of. Craig Sword is doing ehh at MSST because he is getting minutes on a depleted roster. Mostella is probably JUCO bound unless something changed and he had a terrible attitude problem from what I've heard. Neither of those players filled any kind of need either. The 2011 class was full. Just curious, but who did you have in mind?

I'm also blown away by the amount of offers he has. Can't believe we aren't hearing more about him. Anyone know what type of competition Hokes Bluff plays?

This has been my problem with Grant recruiting wise. I was willing to forgive him for the mishap he had before, but offering JUCO guards is going to put us in some pretty deep shite again unless we have a terrific 2015 recruiting class. I'm hoping he is just being cautious and offering them just in case one of our SGs leaves.
