Why does Scout have William Lee as a 2013 recruit? I though he was in the 2014 class.

Jimmie Taylor was one of 16 standouts at LBJSA according to ESPN.

@troywilliams_: After Peach Jam, me and Anthony Barber ( Cat ) may have a decision. Key Word -> MAY .

That isn't good. Sounds like they are going to go to school together, which would indicate Louisville.

I don't think that's the case. I think they'll pick separate schools.

I hope so, because the only school they have shown mutual interest in is Louisville.

This

me and Anthony Barber ( Cat ) may have a decision

just makes it sound like they are making the same decision one way or another.

If its the same it could be us, because Williams has shown us some interest. But if they do indeed choose same school I'd guess Louisville just because of the late, surprise addition of them to Barbers short list. If it happens it will be just one more reason for me to hate Dick Pitino.

My guess is Williams has and will be working on Barber for UL, hence the late addition. Don't think it will happen. Barber likes CAG therefore he likes nice coaches...not arse-bags.

@DaveTelep: Cat Barber's evolution continues. Splits everything and vision on steroids!

Tweets from Jody Demling:
quote:

Anthony "Cat" Barber said he and AAU teammate Troy Williams "have been talking all day" about going to the same school.

quote:

Barber said Louisville and Alabama are the options if they want to attend the same school. Said the entire Louisville staff is after him

Looks like they're going to be committing to same school if they commit after Peach Jam.

Bad thing we got a 5 star SF from 2012. As far as PT goes Bama wouldn't make much since for Williams, with all the talented wings we have.

We run that 4 and out, remember? I'm told old that's why we're ot pursuing Trayvon reed inthe same class. Pollard is 2 and out, this Williams is def not one and done.

I know the 4 out 1 in is what we are going towards and I believe Pollard will play a lot of 4 for us throughout his career here, but there is also Levi and Coop who will be playing a lot of minutes at the 3. If you compare UL and our PT availability, UL has a huge advantage. Both players would have a good chance of starting right away, with Siva graduating and them not having an established 3 to speak of. I think Williams could contribute his first year, but certainly not as much as he could at UL. As far as him not being a one and done, I wouldn't take it completely out of the realm of possibility. The kid was a top 10 recruit until recently. He has a lot of athleticism and potential, which are players that NBA looks for in freshmen. He plays like Mo Harkless, with a decent jumpshot (kid was rated in the 40s and 50s out of HS).

Bama has pt advantage at pg. I think they part and do what's in their best interest.

I don't think they will play together either. Maybe less competition at point for the future, though Barber will own the scrub they got in last class, but Releford will still be here while Siva will have just graduated. UL has advantage at both positions as far as PT goes. If they set an announcement date after Peach Jam we will have to rely on the one advantage we do have and that is CAG.
