I didn’t think North AL was supposed to be difficult?

Note that last night: Arkansas lost to Missouri State, Kentucky lost to Xavier, Troy lost to Wofford, Just keeping it in perspective - it could have been much worse.

6-2 AU
7-5 UT

We saw some lineup changes during midweek do we think the starting rotation will change? Do we think that’s the reason Blackwood didn’t start yesterday?

Who do you think he’d replace? Possibly Quick’s blister could take a while to heal. Starters have mostly been good aside from last week. Maybe somebody in the bullpen. Did Blackwood have innings over the weekend? That could affect his availability.

It was a fun time in Huntsville last night, crowd definitely showed up. Closer than what we were obviously hoping but always great to catch a walk off in person.

He pitched 2 innings and I think his PC was fairly low. He only pitched 1 inning last Tuesday due to being sick. Maybe coming in from the bullpen during the weekend is the idea.

I guess I was right to feel like something might be going on.

“Riley Quick is listed as questionable heading into the Crimson Tide’s series v. No. 9 Oklahoma.

Adams stays at Friday, Alcock is listed as the Saturday starter. Sunday’s is TBA, so could still be Q.

Austin Morris is also questionable going into tomorrow.

I will say that I saw Morris do something with his arm and hand in his 2nd inning last Friday that caught my attention. I asked my friend immediately if he saw it but his next 2 or 3 pitches his velo stayed up & I was told it was probably nothing.

I hope it’s nothing to do with his arm bc he was really looking good the last 2 appearances.
