Not for the faint of heart at the Joe tonight. Meanwhile, in Knoxville…

East Tennessee State has done it! It stuns #1 Tennessee 7-6 in 10 innings to hand the Volunteers their first loss since game 1 of the College World Series Finals. Cody Miller went 2-4 with a 2-run HR, Jamie Palmese hit the game-tying, 2-run HR in the 9th and Grant Gallagher blasted the game-winning HR in the 10th.

Andrew Cotten was nails in relief and slammed the door with a pair of strikeouts across 2 shutout innings.

They checked him out, but he stayed in the game.

His wrist got jammed on a play at the plate. He dropped the ball.

Wish we could draw more fans to the game. The Tennessee series needs to be sold out

Alabama starting pitcher JT Blackwood left after one inning of his start vs South Alabama. He was ill not injured so that's a sigh of relief for the Tide. Also, IF Garrett Staton has been cleared to return. He could possibly play this weekend vs Tennessee but most likely will return next Tuesday vs North Alabama

These midweek games are important, but Blackwood might be an arm to think about utilizing on the weekends. He's been pretty strong.

Is 21 wins by this point normal? I don’t keep up with baseball and don’t like it as a sport but seeing 1 loss doesn’t seem like something that’s very common even against a bunch of scrubs.

For us? Hell no, we normally would be sitting around 16-6 (1-2) and in a four weeks we would be at 24-14 (5-10)

2 of 3 from Ucheat would be sweet
