That was a big win. Win Tuesday and pound Missouri next weekend and this team should have a lot of momentum and confidence going into to the final three weeks of the season.

team ERA in conference is pretty bad. There are only about 4 BP guys who are under 3.5 and all the starters are way over 5.5.
Team BA is around 260 within the SEC with Justin's BA dropping like the Titanic. We only have 2-3 over 300 in the conference. I have been looking at this for a few months, since SEC play started, and the BA's are dropping and the ERA is rising. I am sure this has to do with the level of competition, which means we need to sweep Mizz and do it in a Yuge way. Run rule them in 3 straight.

Easily could have won 2 of 3 this weekend, so that is a bit disappointing. However, goal is always to avoid sweeps on the road in conference play and we did that again. Hard to say a sweep is expected, but at home vs Missouri a sweep is expected. Anything less is a disappointment.
Win at Samford, sweep Missouri and you head into May sitting at 35-10 (12-9) with 10 tough games left (9 conference games with Vandy/UGA/UF + @ Troy). 15-15 in league play would look very possible and a winning record very much on the table.
