Not Bamas best outing. Sticks went cold after first three innings. Hated a few of the players approaches. We were super aggressive and then started watching pitches. Well everyone except Neal.

Lebron gets getting ofers. His batting average is below 300 and I would be curious what it is in SEC play only. I have not see that option on the stat pages yet. Good road win . We scored all of our runs in the first two innings. Wasnt watching the game

Not saying they aren’t but the offense went completely dead after 3rd inning.

I mean thats baseball. Doesnt matter when you score 10 runs in 2 innings.

If we scored a run an inning thats just 9 runs.

LeBron BA in conference is .200
Pitchers are staying on the outer half and it looks like he’s trying to pull everything.

He needs to change his approach. Nobody is going to start him off with a fastball. He needs to go into each AB sitting breaking ball so when a pitcher hangs one he can hammer it. I feel like he ends up behind in the count every time he steps up to the plate.

Despite that I think the bigger issue with the lineup is Torres hitting in the 4 spot and Plattner and Steele just not hitting anything. Neal is just tearing the cover off the ball, but with the way Torres approaches hitting, we aren't far from teams pitching around Neal the same way they are Lebron.

Plattner and Peyton Steele are just black holes in the lineup.

If I were making the lineup it would probably be something like:
1. Fowler
2. Lebron
3. Neal
4. Lemm
5. Holt
6. Osterhouse
7. Torres
8. Vaughn
9. Hines

Might even dabble with bumping Holt to leadoff and moving everyone else down a spot

Alabama baseball has won seven straight SEC games in a season for the first time in 27 years.

D1 baseballs rankings make no sense. We are 3rd in their RPI with a top 5 SoS, but ranked 16th with a better record than Southern Miss who is 18th in their RPI, has a worse record, but is ranked 8th.

I know they have the head to head win, but how do they base these rankings?

Not that it matters this early, just an observation I made.

Auburn is also 4th in their RPI and we swept them.

Oklahoma is ranked above us as well at 11. If we can win this series, you'd have to think wed get into their top 8.

Saddle up!

Today’s game moved up due to the threat of inclement weather

Well that’ll give me something to do at least. Stuck at home with a toddler that’s out for the day.

Who knows what they are thinking. If they are as dumb as football media, they are ranking teams purely based on record.

Interestingly, the rankings are punishing teams that have gotten swept lately.
Baseball is an up-and-down sport. We'll see where folks are in May and June. Hopefully, we are still rolling. I do have some concerns about our bullpen.

3-1 Oklahoma. Bama has the worst DH in college baseball.

We strike out looking at fastballs more than any team I’ve ever seen.

LeBron has been struggling hard. OUs pitcher looks like he is tired snd the first thing Lebron does is hit into a double play.

Did I miss something or was that short pop up clearly a foot inside the 3rd base line and the ump called it foul?
