Due to UF and AU losing, we are now #3 in RPI and it’s not even an April Fools joke. What in the heck just happened?

I did not see the game but based on stats it was a pitching dual. Our 5 hits to their 3 hits.
Our 1 and 2 batters had zero hits.
Looks like we threw 6 arms and the closer got the W

They had runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out in the 7th. We walked the next guy to load them up. Struck out the next guy to get two outs, and then during the next AB the runner on 3rd tried a delayed steal to steal home and was thrown out by a mile

That was the bottom of the 8th and things were looking bleak with Steckmesser kinda struggling to stay in the zone.
Can’t believe they tried that. Still wondering if the coach called it or the player called it.

No idea if this team can get to Omaha but they are playing a fun brand of baseball right now. They are so gritty.
