I thought we had to put up a pretty quick shot there.

I was mad at Mallette earlier for not shooting and passing it up to Allen to shoot a more contested 3(that he made)

I didn’t learn much that I didn’t already know in this game. Definitely could’ve won and could’ve used the win

We have to shorten the bench and play 4 guards and Sherrell or 4 and TBB when Sherrell is out. That’s the only way this roster can really work IMO

That tech turned out to be the big difference in the game. As a coach how can you teach your players to keep their composure when you can’t. I love Nate and appreciate all he’s done for our program. I just don’t like seeing us lose to teams we are better than.

frick that. This officiating crew destroyed the game tonight. If they're going to frick you anyway, you may as well get in that arse as a coach.

You watched that game and came away thinking that that technical foul was the difference in the game? fricking what?

That was insufferable to watch. I can’t stand a foul fest. Very frustrating with all the injuries limiting the potential of this team. This team seems to be limited more than last year but I think it is a health issue. Good news is that might be our toughest league game and it’s out of the way - other than maybe at UF. We don’t match up well with them and on the road they will bully us to death.

Yes that tech caused basically a 8 point swing. We were in the thick of the game down two.

Maybe we’re getting all the injury bad juju behind us.

Rather they stay healthy Feb forward. We’ll be fine. But I think we have to lean in to what we are. We don’t have enough good bigs to justify not playing the guards.

We’ll get bullied inside, but that happens anyway so might as well try to run and shoot them out of the building

We haven’t had a full healthy roster since the Final Four

My somewhat tipsy memory may be mistaken but I'm pretty sure we were down something like 10 points when he got the tech. Regardless, it was a fully justified tech and the only thing about it that makes me angry is that Oats didn't chew the officials' asses enough. They deserved to be humiliated on national TV during that farce of a game. What an absolute disgrace to the sport.

We didn’t have a healthy roster then.

It’s just Bama basketball. We are always cursed. Something always happens to frick us.

Seriously, lol. Just set the conference record for most fouls in a game, with 63. Broke the record by fricking 6(57).

and that 1 tech was the problem?

2nd time we’ve had a starter go out due to cramps.

Give these dudes some pickle juice.

Oats postgame: “I think Taylor and London played really hard. The shots didn’t fall for them, but they will. I’m not worried about that”

I am. They did both play hard and there’s definitely a spot for them I think our opponents are perfectly ok with London and TBB taking 3s.

I'm fine with them shooting 3s. What I'm not cool with is them shooting a 3 every time they touch it. They need to be within the rhythm of the offense. Them jacking up 3s takes us out of that.
