Agree this is largely on the OC right now but it would be nice to have a QB that could/coaches would let check out of doomed plays. It is a huge disadvantage that we simply cannot/will not audible.

Bama fans just aren’t used to nailbiters. We rarely experienced them under Saban. This is normal CFB experience for most fans, and it feels excruciating after being top dog and dominating teams handedly for nearly 2 decades.
