We looked Cold and the field looked like crap.. yet we still scored over 50 and the D showed out

That field was like an ice rink. Our players were slipping everywhere.

i dont recall the Ark players slipping. Maybe they knew something we didnt and had their cleats ready. Which leads meto ask why our folks werent ready. We had warmups and people allover that field for an hour before kickoff. Longer cleats would have made sense. Unless we had longer cleats and they were still slipping.
I guess Sam Walton money at Ark doesnt get them a good playing field these days. Shame on the Ark athletic department. RTR

Longer cleats slow you down and make it harder to make quick cuts. They'll just stop you from slipping. Our guys probably decided to give it a go before changing.

Bama has simply dominated Arky since the arrival of Saban.
From 2007-2020 14-0.
From 1997-2006 we we're 4-6 vs Arky.
Of course, 10 year stretch there was challenging years. 4 coaches & probation involved.
Also, 14-0 vs Tennessee since 07.
From 95-06 we were 2-10 vs Tennessee.
I won't forget those miserable losses. Still enjoying this wave of dominance we're currently riding.
