Philon, Holloway, and Wrightsell are just deadly. We have some vulnerabilities, but we are also going to run some teams out of the gym

Also, like everyone else, I really like Allen. Feels like he’s going to be a very important connector/role player this year, and could be a star after that. Could see him being a lead ball handler at some point, at like 6’7.

We probably had 7 chances to take a charge and nobody wanted any of that smoke. They did have some big dudes

Really good showing today and dont have the full roster yet. Aside from the obvious guys doing well, I'm finding as much court time for Allen as possible. He's really solid and will help the team a lot. Interested to see how Bethea fits in when he's back and how good we can be.

Really like this group. Feel good about the Purdue game too.

If Bethea is getting minutes, he’s gonna have to add something on defense because we do not lack in scoring and shooting on the perimeter. Chance he may be the odd man out barring injuries.

I will tell you this right now…Bethea is that dude. He’s the most talented guy on our team. As soon as he’s healthy we go up a level.

How'd we look today? I was occupied with kid stuff all day and just followed on my phone.

Long, athletic, when hot from 3 we’re capable of going on explosive runs and putting up points fast. Defense has work to do, but that’s the case early every season. Really love the team chemistry right out the gate this year. Only 7 turnovers for the game. That’s a very good sign.

Pretty solid. We had a good, but not great shooting game and beat a supposedly (probably slightly overrated) top 5 team on the road. They had no answer for our guards The front court did enough and the whole team was gritty

I love mark sears but majority of the turnover issues began with him running point

We beat 2 final four teams last year and he was the main reason we made our only final four 2 years ago. Y’all need to lay off the Sears hate…guy was one of the hardest workers and most accomplished players we’ve ever had.

Sears is the Bama Basketball GOAT IMO. However I do think the offense will be better this year without him. A lot more sharing the ball with Philon and Holloway running the show

mark is the goat, hopefully everyone knows that. you dont take us to our first ever final four with an undersized center and rylen at the 4 if youre not. i personally thought last seasons issues on offense (which was still elite) had more to do with a lack of speed and spacing needed to free things up in oat's system, than an occasional forced drive on his part. this season though should be an improvement in those areas and yes, with the passing of the torch to a sophomore philon and a more seasoned aden, while still early a win like this one does look promising.
