They discuss the Bama win before he joins, but Coach Oats is on at about the 20 min mark

Philon, who’d been struggling pretty badly for a while, with a clutch run with the game tied 81-81:
Driving layup: 83-81
Drives and kicks to Dioubate who gets fouled: 84-81
Drives and kicks to Youngblood for 3: 87-81
Hits a 3 after the Dioubate and Youngblood scramble: 90-81
Dioubate and Youngblood had some nice moments there too, but Philon was involved in everything.
Needed it too, with the Holloway foul trouble.

In a just world Bama is number 3 in the AP and coaches’ poll come Monday.
To justify this:
Ranked losers this week:
2
4
5
6
7
8
9
11
13
14
15
16 (x2)
18
20
22
23 (x2)
25
And either 12 or 19 will lose today.
So while the UGA game might have been close I have 0 complaints that we managed to dodge the bloodbath for another week.
Bama may have lost but so did everyone around them. The next closest team to not lose was number 10 Houston. There’s no way they jump Bama were I making a ballot, especially since they didn’t really play anyone. Bama has arguably the best win of the week as well.
I would have it
1. Auburn
2. Duke
3. Alabama
come Monday.

I don't know what poll voters will do. (Many may have anxiety attacks when they realize they have to look at more than W or L)
However, I agree that Alabama probably would be the 3rd #1 seed right now.

I heard about Reid’s injury last night and he will miss several games because of a broken foot. That is a bummer but does that mean Mallette will be on the floor again? We really need his 3- PT shooting this year but he will also be invaluable next year when so much of our senior leadership leaves. A conundrum.

That's a bummer with Reid. I really like the way we played yesterday and I know Uk is not a solid defensive team. But with Youngblood starting to find his stroke and Mo becoming to important not to play, I think our formula is tweaked a little more for aggressive downhill play. Cliff was such a big part of keeping Uk honest yesterday and Jarin was confusing them with deep drives that put them on their heels. I'm kind of hopeful we can keep the Rs on Mallette

I kinda feel we need to save him for next year too but you don’t get a collection of players with experience like we have this year. This might be our best shot at another FF or even a title. Who knows when another opportunity will come again. Might be all hands on deck time. Plus what if there is another injury.

We have a 9 man rotation now and it worked well vs UK.

Listening to Oats, he must have been displaying gamesmanship , bc I thought he acted like it was a game time decision on Reid and he was “coming along nicely “ ?

I don’t know what the reality is but that’s what I heard Bilas say.

Dang Ok. Hate to lose his defense

My only reason to doubt a broken foot is he didn’t even have a boot on yesterday on the bench

Can't imagine he'd be out there warming up at all with a broken foot. Much less without a boot on. They'd be taking every precaution they could considering he could theoretically be back for the postseason.

a broken foot could be a small bone guys.
